Fun Fact: Edrin's dream was to become a well-respected Spinner (a historical priest of Y'ffre/a trusted elder of the Green) but his ambitions were struck down when he became a father at the young age of 17. Setting his future aside to care for his wife through her postpartum depression, Edrin took out his frustrations on his son, Nall, and forced him to fulfill his dream by training and studying in his place. This, of course, put a rift between the two.

Fun Fact: Ganwyn used to be an avid tracker and huntress, living in a feral tribe of females deep within the jungles of Grahtwood. After giving birth to Nall, Ganwyn suffered from severe postpartum depression which rendered her unable to properly care for herself or her newborn. As her son got older, he took over caring for her and they developed a very close bond, especially after the birth of her second child, Nell.
