"Guys! ... You guys! ... Hey! ...Wake up!" A faint voice approaching, getting closer and closer. I look and Tianna and she looks just as confused. "Guys... Help... Justin..." The voice is getting closer.
"Hey, get up. Someone's coming." I shake the boy's to wake up, as I start to feel uneasy.
"Hmm. What's... What's going on." Wilkey wakes up first, then Sammy.
"Dude you fell asleep." He yawns, getting up. How does Sammy not look a mess? Anyways...
"Wilkey!... guys... Hey... Justin is..." Is that Amy??
"It's Amy." I tell the others and try to face the direction the voice was coming from. "Amy!?" I call out to her.
"What's going on?" Sammy asks Tianna.
"Amy!? Justin?" I call out again.
"I don't know, we just heard someone calling out, I think its Amy and Justin." Tianna explains to the boys.
"Amy?!" "Amy!?" "Justin!?" We all start calling until finally we see her. Something is wrong but what it is. We all run towards her.
"Guys, help... I... I'm sorry...I...He... Justin." Her words broken; tears filled her eyes. She is limping and completely out of breath.
"Bitch, speak!" Tianna was scared, looking more worried then she should be considering its Amy.
"She's hurt. Put her down" Wilkey noticed her limping too. We help her to the ground.
"What happened?" "Where were you?" "Where's Justin?" We all flood her with questions.
"Everyone be quiet." Wilkey takes charge. "Just breath, you're ok." He helps Amy control her breathing. "There you go, now can you tell me what happened?"
"I... I'm sorry... Justin... He told me to. I'm sorry" She starts to cry again.
"It's OK. What happened to Justin?"
"They took him, He told me to run, and I didn't know what to do." My heart skips a beat. Amy is shaking. What happened, who took Justin.
"What." "Who?" "What happened?" "Where did you go?" We all started talking.
"We...we... woke up early... and everyone else was sleeping so we thought we would do some recon... but they were there, they were already looking for us." Amy tries to explain.
"What?" "Who?"
"The guards. Justin and I got up early, you guys were still sleeping so we thought we would go do some scouting, to see if anyone was following us... but we went too far... one of the guards from the field trip saw us and alerted the others. Justin told me to hide out a wait until I couldn't hear anything before I headed back, he said he would lead them away. I tried to stop him I tried to think of another way, but I couldn't..." Her voice breaking. "Smartest girl in fucking school but my brain couldn't work the one time I needed it most." Her hands were bruised and shaking, and her eyes were full of tears.
"So, you just let Justin get caught." Tianna quick to lay blame. "You basically lead them here, are you sure you weren't followed?"
"Relax ok, there was nothing she could have done." Sammy tries to defuse the situation.
"I'm sorry." Amy cries. "He told me it would be alright, but I know he was scared and yet I still... I... I left him."
"Hey, listen if he said he would be alright then that just means he trusted you and us enough to save him along with the others. We'll get him back don't worry." Wilkey's words comfort us all.
"Evan's is right if the guards were still on our trail, then Justin just bought us some time to start moving. We need to get out of here asap and don't leave any traces."
I help Amy up while the others destroy the campfire from last night and grab everything that they needed.
"Is your leg, ok?" I ask Amy.
"Yeah, I tripped trying to run away, I don't know if it's sprained or broken, but it hurts a lot".
"Ok I'll help you walk."
