"hi, oh my god, what are you doing here?" alexa put the bread slices in a plate and immediately got closer to the guy.

"what, am i not welcomed in your house?" the black haired guy said. "why didn't you tell me the other times, huh?"

alexa chuckled and thought about the previous times her brother's friends came over to her house. she wasn't really a people person, so she would just say hi and stay in her room all the afternoon, that's why probably she had never seen austin at her house.

"honestly i didn't even know you knew my brother." she said.

"and i didn't know you were ian's sister." austin chuckled. "that's crazy right?"

that really was. what were the odds for them meeting a week earlier and then finding out they could have met before?

after knowing her brother kindly asked her to prepare some sandwiches, austin volunteered to help her out, so the two of them did their work perfectly and not even 10 minutes later they took the sandwiches and some drink to the others.

"uh thank you so much, you can leave now, bye." ian quickly said as he saw alexa. "love you."

alexa smiled for the last words her brother said and then greeted them all, or she was about to.

"aw look at how sweet he is!" one of his friends mocked him. "but for real, thank you for these. do you wanna join us?"

alexa was surprised and she really hoped he didn't actually say it. she didn't hate them or something, simply she was more comfortable in her room by herself.

"no problem, and i would like to, but i have some assignments to finish." alexa said the first thing that came up to her mind.

"yeah and now we should believe you?" she heard austin's voice before she could walk away. "c'mon we're not gonna eat you!"

alexa rolled her eyes and before she could even say anything, austin grabbed her arm and made her sit next to him.

she let a few minutes pass by before taking her phone and texting scarlett. she wanted to update her about what just happened. after all, she also left her on read and this was a good excuse to text her back.

alexa                                                                    you have no idea what just happened lol

scarlett                                                                    would u mind explaining why you didn't text me back?!?!?

alexa                                                                 sorry, won't happen again <33

scarlett                                                               now tell me! what's going on?

before alexa could even start typing the answer, someone took her phone off her hands.

"ugh c'mon austin, give it back!" she said slightly annoyed. she hated when someone took her personal things without asking.

"or what? you've been on your phone since you got here, it's rude." austin said looking at the phone. "ohh you were texting your friend about me!"

and in that moment, all the boys turned into alexa's direction since austin spoke too loud, especially for the last part.

"no he's kidding, now go back to your play." alexa was visibly embarassed, but now she was focused on getting her phone back.

"would you mind giving me my phone back?!" she sighed. "also you are being rude for checking my personal texts."
