"oh c'mon stupid door!" scott said as he was trying to open it, but unfortunately it had already been 10 minutes and every try was invane.

"ugh, asher claims to have all this freaking money, but still he can't fucking fix a door?" alexa said out of the nervousness she was feeling.

"do you have your phone with you?" scott asked alexa turning to look at her. "we could call austin or vivi so they can help us."

"shoot no, i have it in my purse." she said. "i'm sure the girls are already looking for me, we all were about to go home."

"my phone is dead, so i guess we just have to wait." scott said as he gave up to open the door and got closer to alexa.

alexa nodded as scott spoke trying not to panick, but then she remembered scott just talked to his brother at the phone not even 10 minutes ago.

"wait, your brother just called you and it was just fine.." alexa spoke.

she was looking at scott waiting for an answer, but instead he was silent looking around, as if he was coming up with an excuse.

"yeah, no, the battery was already low, like 8%." scott finally said something. "i guess we spent too much time talking and now the phone is totally dead."

alexa kept looking at scott, as she was analyzing his behaviour, but she didn't say anything.

they were stuck in the bathroom, vivi and scarlett were probably looking for her and it was just a matter of minutes.

as much as alexa didn't mind being in that situation with scott at first, now she was starting to feel a little uncomfortable, rethinking about the shitty excuse he made.

during all the time they had been in the bathroom, none of them said a word. they simply looked at each other hoping not to get caught but every time their eyes would meet.

"ARE YOU GUYS STILL IN HERE??!"

all of a sudden they heard austin screaming behind the door.

"jesus man it was about time." scott said getting close to the door.

"finally, i thought we were gonna spend days in here." alexa said to play it down.

after many tries, and much cussing, austin finally managed to open the door and let scott and lex out of the bathroom.

"thank you austin, i really owe you one!" lex said hugging her friend.

"hmm, right now i can't think of anything, but i'll save it for when i really need it." austin giggled hugging her back.

as the three of them were speaking and joking, well it was mainly lex getting bullied by both of the boys, scarlett and vivi showed up as well.

"ugh thank god you're here." lex hugged her two friends. "i'm sorry if i'm late but i was looking for my purse, which i still have to find, but then i got stuck in the bathroom with scott and-"

as lex was trying to explain what just happened, vivi gave her a death stare and went away, grabbing scarlett's arm and taking the girl away with her.

"hey, where are you going?" lex asked out of confusion.

"we are going home." vivi said without even looking at her. "find yourself a ride, or walk home, it's none of my business."

lex looked at scott and austin hoping they could give a logic explanation to what just happened, but they were even more confused than her.

"fine, i'll find my purse and then i'll walk home." lex said as she was walking towards the stairs. "thank you again, and goodnight."

"hey hey!" austin spoke. "do you really think we're gonna leave you alone in the middle of the night?"

"i don't know how much it's gonna take, i don't even wanna bother you." lex said.

"who gives a fuck about the stupid bag, asher will find it tomorrow, now let's go home." austin said convincing his friend to take a ride from them.

"fine, i'll ask asher tomorrow." lex walked to them. "thank you again, austin, you're saving my life tonight."

"hey what about me? i made sure nothing would happen to you in the bathroom and also the car is mine, so you should thank me." scott said winking at lex, making her blush a little.

the three of them got out of asher's house and got in scott's car, austin was in the passenger seat while lex was in the backseat.

better for her, it was a way more comfortable seat so she could have laid a little while on the way home.

"by the way, simon called me not even an hour ago. he was looking for you." austin spoke after some minutes.

"yea i know, he called me too." scott said as if he was almost bothered.

"did he tell you ab-" austin was interrupted by scott.

he was definitely not in the mood for talking about the thing he was avoiding.

"yes he freaking did." scott said. "i don't care honestly, i already told her i was spending the night with you guys and still she's been giving me a hard time before even getting here."

"look i don't wanna be a jerk, but you already know what i think of her, you can't keep being with her if she can't give you some space without freaking out." austin looked at his friend on the left.

then he turned back to check on lex, who was blissfully sleeping on the backseat. probably she didn't even hear a thing the two boys said.

"i know how things are. i'll deal with it." scott looked at austin for a quick second. "do you know where lex lives by chance? i forgot to ask her."

"shoot no, uhm what if we call vivi? she could tell us, they've been knowing each other for years." austin said unlocking his phone and looking for vivi's number.

"her house is right in front of the soccer field." austin said after ending the call with vivi. "the one where we always play with the others. what a coincidence."

after some minutes, 7 or 8 i'd say, they arrived at lex's house. scott parked the car and helped austin to get lex out of the car and taking her at home safe.

she had been drinking a few drinks, so she might have had troubles in taking the elevator by herself.

"wha- where are we? what about your beautiful car, scott uh?" lex stuttered as she was starting to wake up.

"sh, lower your voice. you're arrived at home, just don't make any noise or your parents will wake up." scott said kindly grabbing her waist.

"oh shit my parents. no they can't see me like this. also look at my eyes." lex said pointing her green eyes with her index. "drew and louis made me smoke a little earlier and now my eyes are red."

"jesus christ lex! you were doing just fine not even half an hour ago." austin started to freak out a little.

"i know but what can i do? just wait with me until i look better." lex got closer to austin. "please i'll be sitting in the car and i'll behave."

as she said those words she laid on the backseat and closed her eyes, falling asleep in scott's car.

"i'm taking her at my place, i'll explain my mom everything tomorrow morning." scott said getting into the car.

"whatever bro, just hope that she won't find out." austin said getting in the car.

it was gonna be a long night.
