My wife and I have both been working a lot lately and have barely had time to spend together. When we have freetime we spend it together with Rose as a family. There was one movie night with her when Rose decided to speak.

"Mummy, when can I have a baby brother or sister?" She asked Scar making both our eyes go wide. We haven't spoken about having kids yet since Rose isn't mine but I love her like she is.

"I don't know princess, why do want one?" She asked the child.

"Yeah, I would love to have one." She told us both with a wide smile.

"Well these things take time honey, your mum and I have to talk about it first to make sure it's something we both want." I told the small child which she just nodded and turned back to the TV.

"You would be an amazing mama Y/N." She said without taking her eyes off the TV. I looked at Scar who had a fuzzy smile on her face at her daughter which made my heart flutter.

"And why is that?" I asked her making her turn back to me.

"Because you're already like a mama to me. You've spent all of your free time you could with me even when you're tired from work. You look after mummy when she needs help and you make sure that we're both safe and happy." She said softly making a tear slip from my eye.

"You're such an amazing kid Rose. I love you princess." I told her as she gave me a tight hug. Scar had tears in her eyes as she watched the two of us.

"Well it's time for bed princess." Scar said as she took her from me and carried her to her room. I couldn't wipe the smile that has took residence on my face as I tidied up. As I was finishing Scar came to me and wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

"Are you OK love?" I asked her softly.

"I'm perfect. So what do you think of having a baby together?" She asked me cautiously.

"Well, we've only been married for less than a year and I don't know. I would love to have a baby with you if that is something that you would want." I told her as I wrapped my arms around her waist holding her close to me.

"I would love to have your babies." She whispered before she pressed a soft kiss to my lips. "Let's go to bed baby." She said as she pulled away.

"I'll be up soon. I'm just going to make sure that everywhere is locked up OK." I told her as I kissed her forehead. I watched as she disappeared up the stairs before I went to complete my task. Once I had made my way upstairs I went to check on Rose to make sure that she was OK before making my way to our room. I walked in to see Scar sat reading her book. I slipped in bed beside her after brushing my teeth and lay on my back.

"She really looks up to you." Scar said breaking the silence.

"Really? I don't know why?" I said with self doubt.

"You need to stop doing that." She said sternly as she put her book down

"What?" I asked her as I sat up and faced her.

"Putting yourself down. You're an amazing person Y/N, just because you're childhood and past relationships where bad doesn't define you. You came out of it all stronger. You could've been a dick but your not. You're everything you're family isn't." She said softly making my smile.

"Well it's still hard to believe that I'm worthy of being loved by someone like you and idolised by Rose." I said quietly as she cupped my face.

"Well we love you so much. When you met Rose for the first time you made sure to include her in our movie nights and gave her the choice of what to watch. You didn't care that the only time we got to have sex was when she was either at her dad's or my parents. You embraced that she's as much a part of this relationship as me. You took her on and I couldn't be more happier that I found my person and the future mama of our children." She said quietly as she rested her head on mine.
