Scarlett's pov

I woke up this morning and glanced over at Y/N's side and noticed that he wasn't there. I quickly covered myself since it's comfier to sleep topless whilst I'm breastfeeding. I find a note on his pillow.

I was called into work a little earlier and I've already took Rose to school. Also your breakfast is on the counter, you just need to warm it up. I'll see you when I get home my love

I walk over to Nessie's crib beside the bed and watch her sleep for a moment before I head to the bathroom to do my morning routine and take the monitor and go to eat my breakfast. I can't help but smile at the thought of how lucky I have been to bump into him all those years ago. Being with him has changed my life for the better. Once I had my breakfast I went upstairs to Nessie, our 5 month old daughter and changed her before I sat in the arm chair in our room and started to feed her. I watched as she latched on and drank like she hasn't been fed before. I couldn't help but smile at how much she looked like her father. She had his hair colour and his eyes while Rose was the double of me. 

"Are you finished baby girl. Do you have some wind." I cooed at the small wide eyed baby in my arms. I lifted her so her head was level with my ear and started to pat her back hoping to get some wind so she doesn't suffer with any form of discomfort. When she had burped a couple of times, I walked towards the office and placed her in the crib we have in there for her and started to work on some scripts for upcoming projects in the future. I looked over the script for Sing! 3 (AN; A dream that many of us have will come true.) and started to read through my lines before we have to be in studio. Also going over the songs that have been chosen for it. I didn't realise how long I was in the office for it in between feeding and changing Nessie when she needed it. I didn't hear the door open until I felt a pair of arms around my waist and kisses being placed on my neck. 

"Hey sweet girl." He whispered against my neck making me smile as I looked up into those eyes that I fell in love with. 

"What are you doing home?" I asked him as I stood up to his level.

"We have finished with the mechanics for the new guidance system and Colonel Stevens dismissed us for the rest of the week." He told me with a bright smile. One of the things I loved about him was that he loved the field he worked in. He is an engineer in the Marines and when he talks about the technical side of his job makes me fall for him even more. "So what have you got here?" He asked me with a smirk as I hid the scripts. 

"Nothing." I teased him knowing he only does this to tease me since he knows what some production companies are like since I worked with Marvel. 

"Hmm. Nothing." He repeated with a smirk before he lifted me up onto the desk and placed his hands on either side of my hips as he leaned in. Even though we have been married for 12 years, he always manages to give me extreme butterflies and I love it. He leaned in and captured my lips in a soft kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling his body closer to my own. "I missed you today." He whispered before he pressed another hard kiss to my lips as his hands roamed my stomach under my shirt.

"I missed waking up with you." I whispered as he looked me in the eyes and all I could see was lust which most definitely matched my own. He kissed me hard again but this time slipping his tongue in my mouth making me moan as he took control. He took my shirt off and started to kiss down my neck making me moan as his hand cupped my clothed core. My eyes closed for a brief moment as he continued to rub me through the cloth before his hand went to slip in my joggers. My eyes caught sight of the clock and I gasped. "Rose." I said as he looked up and stopped his movements. 

"Way to ruin the moment mentioning your teenage daughter." He groaned as I just giggled at his reaction before I responded.

"She finishes school in fifteen minutes." I told him as he just smirked before kissing me softly. 

"Well I cannot wait for her to pass her drivers test because for this exact reason, I am buying her a car so she can drive herself." He said as he passed me my shirt and helped me put it on before he kissed me again. "I'll go and pick her up." He smiled at me before he left to go and get Rose. I stayed sat there watching the door he had just left through with a huge smile on my face. When we first got together, he didn't care that I had a three year old daughter. He didn't care about me cancelling dates because I couldn't find a sitter and those dates became movie nights for the three of us. When he was deployed was hard on both Rose and I but then he decided that with the help of the military he would go to college and get his masters degree in engineering and physics. It was something that he had always wanted to do and he saved up for it since he first joined after he graduated high school. Rose even calls him dad and it makes me so happy that the guy I wanted to spend the rest of my life with and my daughter got on so well. They became best of friends and I love their relationship. I just hope that this is how I get to spend the rest of my life.
