"Ayame... what was that gray creature just now? And what was the armor you used to fight him earlier?" Nozomi asked curiously with wide eyes. The two of them were sitting on a park bench, Coco in front of them.

Ayame sighed.

"It's a long story. But first, tell me something, Coco." Ayame asked the fairy. "Do you know anything about Fangire? I noticed your expression when I said the name 'Fangire'. You don't seem surprised when you hear about it."

Coco suddenly looked down sadly.

"Actually, this isn't the first time I've heard of the name Fangire-coco." Coco said sadly.

"Where did you hear it from?" Ayame said. Some praise. She thought that everyone in this world knew nothing about Fangire. And it seems she was wrong.

"By using glass shard-like Life-Sucking Fangs to drain the Life Energy to maintain their souls, members of the Fangire Race can assume human forms to hide within everyday society to feed in secret, revealing their forms as their skin takes a unique stained glass pattern. Same as what happened earlier."

At this point, Nozomi recalled the moment when Rat Fangire tried to use glass-like fangs to attack them.

"What if Life Energy is sucked away?" Nozomi asked, somewhat worried.

"When a person is drained of Life Energy, their body will be transformed into a glass-like shape and break if anyone or anything touches it. That also means death."

At that explanation, Nozomi and Coco both became terrified.

"Why do they need Life Energy-coco?" Coco asked.

"Although Fangire, along with the 12 other Demon Races, can live without feeding off on Life Energy of humans, their instincts to feed are strong." Ayame said, recalling the times when the Fangire broke the law and sucked up people's Life Energy.

"So what about the armor you used-coco?" Coco asks about Kiva. "You had some stained glass marks appear on your face at that time-coco."

At that time, everyone turned on Ayame including Kivat. Seeing this, she knew she couldn't run away, so she'd better start. However...
