After the work period Charlie, as usual, got Alastor's card and checked out for work, all smiley before hugging his arm so they could leave. As they left, Charlie squeezed her cheek against his arm and looked up.
"What are our plans for today?" She batted her eyelashes at the man.
Alastor pursed his lips and then looked at her. "I thought about resting today, and then we could go to the jazz club to dance, since we couldn't yesterday."
"I would love that!" Charlie gave a little happy jump while walking, she felt her whole body bursting into excitement.
She wanted to dance with him the previous day, but the power went out. Now she was excited for the night; she would finally be able to dance with him at the club and show up in her dress.
Alastor chuckled with Charlie's excitement, and he stayed mesmerizing the girl for a moment. While she was giggling, her eyes connected with his; and her giggle transformed into a warm smile while her hand shyly slid over his arm until it touched his hand.
Slowly Alastor, unconsciously, intertwined his fingers with hers, and Charlie's eyes shone by the sweet and warm gesture.
Alastor was walking with her when they passed by the restaurant where Charlie had invited Alastor to eat with her for the first time. He slowly stopped and looked at its balcony. Charlie was a little confused with the sudden stop and was about to look where he was looking when he began to talk.
"Do you want to eat out today?" He looked at her and she blinked a few times with the question.
"Yes?" She wasn't sure what to say exactly, she was caught off guard.
"Perfect." He began to walk towards the restaurant with her, and Charlie soon recognized it. She was a little confused at first as to why he was bringing her there.
A waiter arrived to present himself for them.
"Table for two." Alastor said and the waiter instantly recognized his voice. But he didn't say anything, he just made a face of shock at first and then shook his head. Charlie noticed it and knew what was about, after spending such a long time with Al, she saw a few different reactions.
As the man entered, he was walking towards the first floor of the restaurant.
"On the balcony, please." Alastor said before the man placed the menu over a table.
"Oh, right, sure." The man was nervous just to hear Alastor's voice. "Please follow me."
They went up to the balcony and the waiter placed the menu on a table close to the street view. He then pulled the chair for Charlie and she thanked with a nod. He pushed the chair towards the table and then kept his eyes on Alastor, silent for a few minutes. Charlie looked towards the waiter and then to Alastor, she wanted to giggle, but she couldn't.
"For now we will check the menu. As soon as we know what we desire, I will call you back." Alastor said without even looking at the waiter. He knew the man was still standing there.
"Oh, sure." The man bowed nervously and went away, but not leaving the floor.
Charlie bit her lower lip while looking at Alastor. She had a sudden idea, since the waiter seemed to be around there yet, and not even trying to look away from Alastor.
"It happened again-" she began and Alastor slowly raised her eyes to look at the girl.
"They thought you were that famous radio host, huh, Dean?" She giggled, rolling her eyes. Alastor knew what she was doing, and with a smile he nodded.
