Alastor got up with a smile and offered a hand to help Charlie get up. With a shy smile she held his hand and stood up.

Alastor was still holding Charlie's hand to help while she was putting her shoes back on. As she fixed her dress with little taps over the fabric, Alastor offered her his arm, which she gladly accepted.

"So," He fixed his glasses and placed his other hand behind his own back. "You said you were there just for one day-"

"Yes. Time runs differently in Hell, apparently." She placed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Yes, but, tell me, dear... How was it?" Alastor looked up to the sky. The clouds were starting to cover the sky.

"Oh, it was okay, Helsa tried to freak out in the presence of my parents and, you know, it almost worked out. But I was fast enough to ask her not to." Charlie said with a smile.

"Right, but who's Helsa?" Alastor looked at Charlie. "And why did she try to freak out?"

"Oh yeah! I forgot to explain that to you." Charlie giggled and then took a deep breath, filling her cheeks with air. It made Alastor chuckle at how adorable she was doing that.

"Helsa is, actually, was, my sister in law. She is from a powerful family in Hell, the Von Eldritchs. They are from and rule the envy ring." Charlie hugged the bit of Alastor's arm that was intertwined with hers a bit more. "I'm from the pride ring, there's 7 rings in total." She took a deep breath and continued to explain, speaking quite fast. "Because of how powerful our families are, my parents supported me dating Seviathan. And at the time, I thought I loved him. But going back to Helsa, so, we were really good friends in the beginning, before I started to date her brother. But when it happened and Hell's tabloids found out, it was all they talked about and it made Helsa quite-"

"Jealous?" Alastor asked with a smile on his face and his eyes half opened; he had a bothered expression. Not because he was bothered with Charlie, but because he knew that very well.

"Yes- that." Charlie nodded and pursed her lips. "And she just stopped talking to me and started to make fun of everything I did or said. Well, we became enemies, naturally. She hates me with all her guts."

"And why did she help you?" Alastor fixed his glasses once again.

"Because, well, I don't know exactly, but maybe because I will be away from Hell, which means-"

"All attention towards her?" Alastor completed the phrase and Charlie nodded.

"Yes, she didn't say those words but that's what I'm guessing." Charlie shrugged and hugged his arm more. "And then the other thing that happened was a whole thing with my father, but I really don't want to talk about it." Charlie looked away for a moment.

"Sure, darling. We can talk about it when you feel like it." Alastor smiled and placed his hand over hers, caressing it.

"Thanks, Al..." She smiled and touched his arm with her cheek. "And you? How was your time here without me?"

"It was like the old days- lonely." He chuckled. He would never complain about being lonely, actually he quite enjoyed it, but since he began to understand his feelings, or what he thought his feelings were towards Charlie, he understood he grew used to having her around. "First people thought we were separated again-" Alastor chuckled and looked at her. "You should see Roger's disappointed and desperate face when I showed up without you."

"Aw, poor Roger!" Charlie narrowed her brows and placed the hand that was touching Alastor's arm over her chest while the other kept intertwined with his arm. "But did you tell him I was just away for a while?"
