With fast steps Charlie continued to walk through the forest. She didn't know where to go anymore, she didn't know what to do. Alastor just 'kicked' her from his house because of who she was...She was angry at all the humans she met, everyone would be like that, wouldn't they? Everybody would hate her, earth, hell... That was her destiny and by now she was sure. Humans would hate her and ignore who she truly was because she was a demon, demons hated her because she was... Different.
Charlie was tired, she placed her hand over her face to clear her now blurry vision just to feel her skin wet. Was she crying?
She stopped in the middle of the forest to look at her hand. It was shining with the moon light, she even moved her hand a bit to be sure, but the reflection of the moon made it clear it was wet. It made it even more clear when she felt a tear drop fall over her wrist.
She was definitely crying. Her heart was shattered, she was completely devastated. The man- Human she loved... He denied her love because she was who she was. How could she be so naïve in believing Alastor would love her back, even with all of that?!
She should have known better...
Charlie felt her knees weakening and her hands trembling. She let her bag fall onto the ground along with her whole body. Her knees collapsed against the floor and she curved her back forward. Both of her hands went to her face while tears rolled down between her fingers.
What should she do? Travel more? She couldn't go home, could she?
But... At the same time; she really wanted to pass through it again? Fall in love with any other human and have the same reaction she had from Alastor? She didn't have to fall in love, but... If she had friends, if she made friends, they all would react the same, no matter what.
At home at least she was already 'used' to it... She was a demon and she belonged to hell; that was clear now.
Charlie frowned and cleaned her tears. She looked at the moonlight. That was a beautiful feature in the human world, she couldn't see one of those in Hell and she surely would miss it.
She would go back home, there was no point in living between humans anymore. It was better to be somewhere she was already used to.
Charlie stopped and let her tears roll while looking at the moonlight. She wanted to look at it one last time.
Then Charlie looked forward, cleaning her tears with her hands and got her bag again. She walked through the woods until she found a glade. She stopped in the middle of it and took a deep breath.
