You absolutely despised him.

To declare that the two of you didn't get along would be an absolute understatement.

Lady Farnese would constantly catch the two of you arguing and would yell for the both of you to be silent!

"If you two don't stop fighting I'll put you on night watch with an early morning start back to back!" She screamed as you both fell silent turning toward your ruthless leader.

When Farnese turned to walk off Serpico suddenly looked your way making a gesture of cutting his throat as though to say 'you're dead'.

Farnese's head snapped back catching sight of that last move and lost her mind.

"Did you not just hear what I said!! Night watch! NOW! Top of the tower! Both of you!" She screamed pointing for you to leave.

You and Serpico froze in your boots and quickly trudged out the door way.

The second you were around the corner and out of sight, you went up a few stairs before reaching to draw your sword.

You were going to give him a piece of your mind.

Now because of him you weren't going to get any sleep.

Serpico rounded the corner and grabbed you quicker than you could react. His movements were clever and calculated as he spun you both so that you swapped places.

You screamed dangling over the edge of the stairs as he barely held onto you with a cocky smirk.

He suddenly let go and you realised Karma was really going to kill you this time. Before you could tumble Serpico swiftly caught your wrist with an even cockier smirk.

You felt a wave of fear knowing he only had to let go and you would be done for. The stairs travelled quite a far way down, spiraling into the deepest depths of the tower of conviction.

He suddenly tugged you back to safety and you froze at how close he held you for a split second. The two of you were face to face with you looking up at him vulnerably. He raised a brow and you growled before stomping past him.

He always had to win and make you look like a fool.

It was infuriating! He embarrassed you enough times in public as is. Anytime you spoke publicly he would openly criticize your ideas or just plainly disregard your opinions altogether.

Anytime you were to demonstrate a duel he would always volunteer to be your partner. Just because he knew he could defeat you.

He ruined any chances of you earning respect amongst the Holy Iron Chain Knights too, going so far as to even embarrass you in front of the founding officials on several occasions.

You hated him for it! Why did he insist on tormenting you.

You stormed to the top of the tower and slammed the iron door shut before he could follow you out there. You'd rather sit up here alone and suffer than get stuck with the only person you couldn't trust to have your back.
