As she looked up, she could see a sign that said...
"Impaxia~ School for Change."
*Hm, a little cheery for a school for bad kids?* She thought. As she walked in she could see kids laughing and joking around with each other.
Even though this school isn't like Ivuria, for rich and royal members of the kingdoms, this school reminded her of the things she would read about it.
This school was for all students from all kingdoms who needed to take another path in life. But for Loraleis sake, she didn't want to take another path~
She just wanted to find one.
As she walked down the halls her eyes lit up. So many people who seemed so nice. All new people who she wanted to meet-
"Woh are you ok? Im so sorry~ here let me help you up."
"W-what~"
Loralei lays there on the ground practically seeing stars on the ceiling. She rubs her head as someone helps her up. Everyone stops to stare at her and the pain in her head goes away, and that pain travels to her heart.
*Why is everyone staring at me like that~ practically laughing.*
"WHAT is going on here!"
Some lady storms past the students and stares at the person next to Loralei.
"Awe miss relax see~ everything's fine no harm done."
The person said while the lady responded with...
"No harm done? No harm done! You just hit our new student in the head with a basketball and you think theirs no harm done?!"
"... well she's standing isn't she?"
"Unbelievable! Young man I have told you countless times to stop playing with the gym equipment in the halls~ that's it I'm giving you detention. AGAIN!"
"Cmon it was an accident, Miss. Donkey I-I mean Miss. Darcey."
The boy smiled as the students around him laughed. The teacher Miss. Darcey turned around and said,
"That's a week's worth of detention."
The boy shrugged his shoulders and smiled at her. The teacher pulled him by the collar and dragged him right to the principal's office.
As the mysterious boy with the basketball looked behind him, he locked eyes with Loralei. Loralei just stood there in that moment and the world felt still. Everything was in slow motion. He winked at her as he turned his head around.
Loralei picked her bag up off the ground and thought,
*I hate that guy.*
