Chapter 5~ Chest

A month has gone by and she has gotten to like Zeke a lot. More than she expected~

She has made a couple of friends that Zeke introduced her to. Zeke is extremely popular. More than Loralei knew at 1st. He's friends with everyone and knows everyone. She's still so surprised he hangs around her as much as he does. 

But he does act differently around her. When he's with his friends or in a big crowd, he acts funny and makes everyone laugh but when it's just them. He relaxes around her, but still theirs so many mysteries about him~

At 1st that's all Loralei could think about, the mysteries but now~ all she could think about was what his soft lips would feel like.

She felt guilty she was having these thoughts, especially since she knew he didn't feel that way about her but there was always a thought in the back of her mind that what if...

it could be something more.

it was time for the party. Loralei was ready but terrified at the same time. She's never been to a party, let alone with a boy. She wanted to make an impression. 

She didn't want to wear traditional Hell Province clothing. As she learned from being at this school, rules are sometimes meant to be broken. 

She wore a white flowy dress with her hair down and curled. She wore small black boots with red fishnets lining her soft legs. She put rhinestones along with her eyeliner and pink lipgloss. She has never felt free.

As she walked into the dorm she can see everyone jumping and dancing in the courtyard. The TV was blasting with music while lights of all sorts of colors flared. She has never seen people from all kingdoms get along so much. They felt so comfortable with each other. 

"You made it!"

Zeke said as he slid out of the wall of people. As he saw her his jaw slightly dropped and he smiled. He said,

"You look amazing."

She smiled as she looked at the ground. As she looked up she can see he was wearing black pants with a black button-up shirt that was purposely not buttoned up all the way. His messy white hair was covering his face but his smile couldn't be more noticeable.

"This place is incredible!"

"What?"

She repeated herself but they couldn't hear each other. the music was too loud. He yelled and said,

"Follow me~"

He grabbed her hand and pulled her through the crowd of hyper teenagers. He opened a supply closet and dragged her inside. The closet had no lights on whatsoever. Even though Loralei's primal source is dark, she has never liked the darkness. it has always scared her because it reminded her of how alone she felt back at Hell province.

Zeke created sunspots in the air. Since he is connected to the primal source of the sun, he created sunspots that make little glowing particles in the air. Almost looking like fireflies. 

As the light flooded the closet. Loralei looked over and saw herself holding onto Zeke's chest.
