After lunch, she grabbed her jacket and snuck out her window. As she went to the front of the dorms she saw Loyd standing there. Waiting for her arrival.
"You came!"
"Of course I did. So what did you want to show me."
"Follow me."
He went into the forest. She was hesitant to follow him but she trusted him. She had no reason not to.
As he took her through the forest full of vines and trees, she could hear the faint sound of water in the background. As he pulled her forward, there beholds a giant waterfall. Overlooking flowers and trees.
"Oh my god~"
Loralei said.
He smiled as her face showed the best emotion he could ever see. Joy.
"I found this place a while back when I was sneaking off. I come here to relax. You're the only person who I've told about this."
She looked at him and her heart glowed.
"I've never seen anything like this before. We don't have these things in Hell Province."
"It's not like the Enchanted garden in Ivuria territory but I would imagine it's pretty close."
"I've heard about that garden~ never actually seen it before but this... I can't imagine anything getting better than this."
He held her hand and said,
"Wanna go swimming?"
"Wha~"
"I mean do you want to go swimming. Like in the water."
She looked at the water and then said,
"I don't have a bathing suit though."
"You don't need one."
He proceeded to take off his shirt. Loralei tried not to stare but couldn't control her blushing. She nodded and went behind a tree to change.
As she took off her jacket and pants. She was only left in her black bra and blue underwear. Her heart was beating so fast. she took a deep breath as she put her arms in front of her body and walked out from behind the tree.
She looked at him and he was wearing grey boxers. His skin sparkled like freshly fallen snow in the sunlight. Everything about him was flawless.
As she walked towards him he smiled at the sight of her. She was embarrassed to show her body but what he said next couldn't have been more perfect.
He pushed her hair behind her ears to see her face and moved her arms away from her body. He said,
"You are~ so beautiful."
as he grabbed her hand he led her to the water. The water was so clear that she could see tiny fish swimming on the bottom floor.
He walked into the water and looked for her to follow. She let go of his hand and said,
"Wait..."
"What's wrong?"
"I- I can't swim."
"Really?"
She shook her head no and said,
"They don't really have much water in Hell Province so. I've never learned how."
He could tell she was embarrassed and ashamed so he said,
"The water isn't deep I promise. I can touch the bottom. We won't go to the deep end."
She trusted him and walked into the water. As she took her 1st step she scrunched up her toes as the water was freezing to her. But as she went in deeper and closer to him, it became more comfortable.
"Heh~ the waters actually nice."
"See you just have to relax and everything will be fine."
She smiled as she swayed her hands through the water. He led her in deeper; to the point where the water layed just below her chest.
"I think this is far enough."
"Ok, whatever you say. Hey, look at that!"
He pointed to a small gold butterfly in the air. The butterfly softly landed on the Lilly pad beside them.
Loralei has never seen a butterfly before. Her eyes lit up at how something so small and fragile, could be so beautiful.
As she reached out to touch it~ the rock she was standing on sunk into the floor...
she slipped and fell underneath the water~
