Kaidan's dragged Swarnalekha out of her house, her father's pleas echoing behind them.

She struggled to keep up with his long strides, her heart racing with fear.

As they reached his car, he pushed her inside and got in beside her.

The driver sped off, leaving her frantic father behind.

She looked around, taking in the luxurious interior of the car.

She had never seen anything like it before.

"Where are we going?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Kaidan didn't answer. He just stared out the window, his expression unreadable.

After a while, they arrived at a grand mansion.

He pulled her out of the car and into the house, his grip on her arm tight.

She looked around, awestruck by the opulence surrounding her. She had never seen such wealth before.

He took her to a room, locking the door behind them.

She looked around, feeling trapped.

"Why have you brought me here?" she asked, her voice shaking.

He turned to her, his eyes cold. "You're here as collateral for your brother's debt. Until he pays up, you'll stay with me."

Her eyes widened in horror. "But that's not fair! I didn't do anything!"

He shrugged. "Life's not fair. Get used to it."

And with that, he turned and left her alone in the room, locking the door behind him.

She looked around the room, trying to take in everything at once.

It was a beautiful room, with a big bed and a dressing table.

But she wasn't here to admire the decor. She was a prisoner.

She walked over to the window and tried to open it, but it was locked. She was trapped.

Just then, the door opened and a maid came in with a tray of food. She had a big scar running across her face.

"Master said you might be hungry," she said, setting the tray down on the dressing table.

Swarna's stomach growled at the sight of the food. She hadn't eaten all day.

"Thank you," she said, sitting down to eat.

The maid smiled and left the room, locking the door behind her.

She ate quickly, trying to think of a way out of this situation.

But every window and door was locked. She was trapped.
