Taming the beast:The Collateral Bride 👰 SYNOPSIS:

"Leverage,"Kaidan sighed, his shoulders shrugging slightly. "You don't need to understand," he said. "Just do what I say and everything will be fine."

He left like everytime.

Swarnalekha's eyes scanned the room, desperate for an escape. She had to get out of there, no matter what.

That's when she saw it - the bathroom window, slightly ajar. She hadn't noticed it before, but now it seemed like her only hope.

She made a dash for the bathroom, her heart racing with excitement and fear. She pushed the window open and hoisted herself up, ignoring the fact it could even cost her life.

She was halfway out when she lost her grip and fell, landing hard on the ground outside.

She cried out in pain, clutching her ankle.

She had twisted it in the fall, and now it throbbed with agony. She limped away from the mansion, not daring to look back. She had to keep moving, no matter how much it hurt.

Tears streamed down her face as she stumbled through the darkness. She had never felt so alone and scared. But she refused to give up. She had to find a way back to her father, no matter what.

As she limped along, she stumbled upon a small road. She followed it, hoping it would lead her to safety. But the pain in her ankle was getting worse, and she knew she couldn't keep going for much longer.

Just when she thought she couldn't take it anymore, she saw a light in the distance.

She saw a figure in the distance.

It was a man, standing next to a car. She ran towards him, hoping against hope that he could help her.

"Please," she said, out of breath. "You have to help me. I've been kidnapped. I have to get away from here."

The man looked at her, his expression unreadable. "Get in the car," he said.

She didn't hesitate. She got in the car, thanking the man again and again.

As they drove, Swarnalekha told the man everything. She told him about Kaidan and the debt, and the way she was being held prisoner.

The man listened, his face growing darker and darker.

Finally, they turned a corner, and Sonakshi saw the house again. Her heart sank. "Where are we going?" she asked.

The man didn't answer. He just kept driving, until they were right back in front of the house.
