The sun shone brightly over Mumbai, casting a warm glow over the city.

But within the walls of the Upamanyu penthouse, a different kind of heat lingered.

Swarnalekha sat at the breakfast table, her eyes fixed on the plate in front of her, the food barely touched.

Dark circles under her eyes told the tale of a restless night, one spent entwined with............Kaidan.

He stood in his bathroom, gazing at his reflection in the mirror.

His body was a canvas of scratches, a testament to the passion that had ravaged them both.He closed his eyes, a sly smile spreading across his face as he remembered the night. What was it about her that drew him in? He couldn't explain it, but he couldn't get enough of her either. As he brushed back his hair, his thoughts drifted to the promise he'd made her.

He would let her go after their night together.

But now, he wasn't so sure.

The thought of losing her, of never feeling her body beneath his again, was unbearable.

She pushed her plate away, her mind racing with thoughts of escape. She'd promised herself she'd leave after the sex, but now...now she wasn't so sure. His grip on her was tightening, and she wasn't certain if she wanted to break free.

The sound of the bathroom door opening broke the silence.

Kaidan emerged, his eyes locking onto hers with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat.He knew, she thought. He knew she was trapped, and he reveled in it.

"Good morning," he said, his voice was intimidating as he poured himself a cup of coffee.

She nodded, her voice caught in her throat. His eyes locked onto her,his gaze burning with an intensity that made her skin prickle. He stood in the doorway, his chest heaving, his body still humming from their explosive night.

The scratches on his skin seemed to pulse with a life of their own, a reminder of the dilemma with which she'd given herself to him.

Her eyes dropped, her voice barely above a whisper. "I thought I was leaving today."

His smile was a slow, predatory curve of his lips.

"You're not going anywhere, gold. Not now. Not ever."

Her eyes flashed up, a spark of defiance igniting within them. "You promised me..."

He took a step closer, his voice dropping to a low growl. "I lied."

Her face crumpled, tears welling up as she pushed back from the table"You used me?"

His eyes never left hers, his gaze burning."I took what was mine."

As he spoke, her felt her heart shatter, the fragments piercing her soul like shards of glass. She'd given herself to him, body and soul, and he'd crushed her.

"I cannot,I wont be your victim anymore. Not for your sadistic pleasures,"With a sob, she turned and ran, fleeing the room and the man who'd destroyed her.

His roar echoed through the penthouse, a primal sound that sent shivers down her spine. He caught her in the hallway, spinning her back into his arms. "You're mine, gold," he snarled, his teeth bared. "Forever."

She pushed him away reaching for the exit.He watched her leaving, a sudden desperation waving through him.He had to stop her, this wasn't how it was supposed to end.

In a moment of reckless impulsivity, he intentionally fell from the stairs, crashing to the floor with a sickening thud.Blood started spilling from his head as Prema let out a horrified scream.
