He grasped the golf stick and adjusted his aim. He felt much better than he was feeling even a few hours before.

It was a rainy day when he out for his evening walk but it suddenly started raining. He took out his phone and was calling for his driver when someone collided against his chest. It was a girl. He opened his mouth to scream at her but his entire body froze when she uttered,"I am sorry."

It was the sweetest voice he had ever heard. But his heart skipped when she raised her face, her big round eyes staring at him nervously. Her eyes so big that they made the most of her face. Her rich lashes fluttering due to the rain. He licked his lips and brushed back his hairs when she walked past him. She had a tantalizing smell from her body. It reminded him of his mother. He stared back but she was gone. His driver appeared and called him back. That was the only day he felt something other than revenge.

Revenge was a bitter pill that had consumed him. He wasn't satisfied. After hearing his stepbrother got a lover and they were getting married, his heart was filled with disdain, contempt. He thought he wouldn't be heartless but........

But everything messed up after he saw Swarnalekha.

He was in his car. Returning from an important business meeting. There was a time when he had to beg for a piece of bread, now he was sleeping on riches. Only if his mother was alive.

That's when he saw a familiar figure. His hand fisted up. It was Madhav. He was smiling. Why was he smiling? He wasn't supposed to smile!

That's when he saw the girl standing before him. He was startled. That was the same girl he had seen in the rain. She looked liked she was rebuking him over something and he was enjoying it.

"Stop the car"

He ordered. The driver halted looking back at him in surprise. "Anything wrong?"

Kaidan watched, his heart burning with an unknown feeling when he saw him adoring her. Then a devilish smiled flashed across his face as he ordered the driver to go on.

This was going to be interesting.

She was so helpless when she came to him. Madhav had cancer. He was a gone case in another word. At that moment Kaidan blocked all the medical help available for him. His power and influence was unparalleled. Going through a childhood where he was treated like a swine for being a weakling,he had a goal.

"Please, let him go. He didn't do anything wrong. He is your brother."

She cried before him. Begging before him in the same way his mother did one-time. But she was equally guilty. Guilty for choosing someone he hated with all his heart. He was going to make them pay.

That's when he kept his proposal. She was pale. Her eyes widened at the sheer amount of cruelty he had in him. But she was a woman in love.

Things went like that for an entire month.

"Sir,your tea"

He paused staring at Prema. He knew they viewed him like a beast. He didn't want to deny it. He went to his room and spotted Swarnalekha sleeping on his master bed. She looked liked a doll lying on his bed with her size. Her clothes messed up. Her lipstick was smeared. He growled in satisfaction imagining how his stepbrother would feel after knowing the woman he worshipped was sleeping with him?

He touched her face. For that entire day till the night she was his. He kissed her stomach when she fluttered her eyes and opened them. She straightened up forcing him to withdraw his lips. He kissed her lips before getting pushed away by him. He was startled until he saw tears in her eyes. He gave a cocky smile,"It's not the first time we are sucking mouths?"

She lowered her eyes. He wiped her tears tasting them from his finger. "Hate. I taste hate. Your brimming hate towards me and unwavering love for that dying brother of mine."

She looked at him with that expression. Like she was trying to tell him he was heartless. Well, that wasn't wrong. He was heartless except for when it came to her.

He grasped her hand,"Come up. Let's eat something. You must be hungry."

She rose up like a faucet doll. He frowned seeing her dress which was worn out. He changed her clothes and she didn't protest. It was over a month. There was nothing he hadn't done with her so changing her clothes was trivial. They had a light meal. Still she was nibbling like a bird. He took her to his farmhouse after that. The workers greeted him. They had fresh fruits growing up. He ordered them to bring some for him. He tried to feed her. Pressing into her mouth when she slowly started eating.

"You should eat more. Otherwise you will pass away before your boyfriend."

"Stop it."

"Stop talking about his death all the time,"she shedded tears of anguish. He was startled until his eyes narrowed.

"You are-"

"He is dying. The doctor told me he was barely going to make it by the next week. He will die. Are you happy?"

She almost screamed at his face taking him aback. Turning back she rushed inside the house. He followed her. Closing the door behind him. He kissed her back turning her towards him.

"He is dying,"she mouthed. He watched her intently, his thumb grazing her face as she shuddered against his chest. She looked liked she could pass anytime. Her hands gripped his shirt tightly. "He is dying.I won't be able to see him dead." She looked at him with pleading eyes,"Please even if you hate him, please do go to him receive him when he won't be there anymore. Please......"

Swarnalekha's tiny hands trembled as she cried in Kaidan's arms. Her body shook, and her tears soaked his shirt. He held her close, his fingers tracing the delicate curves of her spine.

He watched her back, mesmerized by her fragility. Her tiny frame seemed to disappear against his broad chest. His one hand was twice the size of her head, a stark contrast that filled him with a primal possessiveness.

"That means you will be mine now," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "No third person to share with."

Her sobs slowed, and she pulled back, her eyes narrowing. Her gaze locked onto Kaidan's, and for a moment, they just stared.

Then, her face transformed. Her eyes flashed, and her lips pursed.

She looked like a bird puffing its feathers in anger, small but fierce.

He smiled shamelessly, anticipating her reaction.

And then, it came.

A sharp slap cracked across his cheek.
