Kaidan's eyes shut, and Swarnalekha's lips flooded his mind. Sweetness, softness, surrender.
But with it came a wave of rage, a storm brewing within. His chest heaved, fists clenched. What was wrong with him?
He stormed through the corridors, Ranveer's concerned voice trailing behind.
"Bastard, what's up?"
No answer. Silence was his shield. He reached the torture room, where a spy hung chained. The prisoner's fearful eyes met his.
"Today," he whispered, voice dripping with malice, "you'll learn real pain."
Ranveer watched in horror as Kaidan unleashed hell. The spy screamed, begging for mercy. Kaidan's hands moved with precision.Slashing wounds, burning flesh, crushing bones. He reveled in the blood, cries, pleas.
Yet, beneath it all, Swarnalekha's lips haunted him. Red, inviting, forever etched.
The prisoner's eyes met his."Please," the spy begged, "let me go."
His twisted smile.
"I'll tell you a story," he whispered, voice dripping with sadistic pleasure."About a monstrous king, who saw a princess..."
The spy's eyes widened, terror-stricken.
"...and lost himself to madness."
His tale poured out, dark and twisted. The spy's cries faded into the background.
Kaidan's eyes burned with unholy fire.
He was the monstrous king.
Swarnalekha, his princess.
Forever bound by madness.
Kaidan rose, washing the blood from his hands, the spy's screams still echoing in his mind. He dressed, composed, and headed to the meeting.
Ranveer's eyes widened as he entered, calm and collected, no hint of the monster he'd been moments before.
"Kaid, what...?" He trailed off, unsure.
His smile was enigmatic. "Business, Ranveer. Let's focus."
The meeting room filled with the mafia group from Odessa, notorious arms dealers. They sought to supply his organization with cutting-edge weaponry.
Kaidan sat cross-legged, pen flicking in his hand, eyes locked on the opposition leader's woman, Natalia. Her seductive glances and inviting poses didn't go unnoticed.
He smiled, intrigued. When the meeting concluded, he approached her, her eyes flashing with desire.
"Tell me, Natalia," he whispered, voice low, "how easily do you spread your legs for your husband's business partners?"
Her smile never wavered. "Only for those who can match my price."
Kaidan chuckled, leaning in. "By God, I've never seen a bigger whore than you. Eager to betray your husband on his deathbed."
Her eyes sparkled, unashamed. She leaned in, lips parted.
He spat in her face."You're not worth my time."He turned, leaving her scorned face behind.
Ranveer caught up, voice low. "Kaid, what's going on? You're... different."
"Just cleaning up the trash, Rann."
He took out his gun. His fingers danced with the bullet, rolling it between thumb and index finger. The metallic feel was comforting, a familiar distraction from the turmoil brewing within. His mind wandered, consumed by visions of Swarnalekha. Her lips, a deep crimson, invitingly soft.He rubbed the gun against his temple, the cool metal soothing his racing thoughts.
