There was an unmistakable thrill in Oliver's veins as he exited the school doors, just to see Tabitha leaning on her car, furiously typing on her phone. He looked at her, smiling through the flush on his cheeks. Tabitha returned his grin with the sweetest fucking smile ever, and it wasn't out of the table for him to have melted on the spot. She pushed her phone into her bag, and turned to him, her lips curled. "Where are we going to now?"
"My house. I need to grab a couple of things." She nodded, and Oliver continued. "I need your keys. It's your birthday, and I'm here to drive you wherever you want." She rolled her eyes subtly, murmuring something he couldn't hear under her breath as he opened the door for her. There's a brief period when her eyes clash against his, and the sun's rays are melting the browns of her eyes. Oliver rounded the car and got in, not before seeing bitter eyes from afar. Aiden stormed off, and he couldn't bite back his chuckle. He started easing out of the school's parking lot, as Tabitha leaned back, fiddling with the bracelets on her wrist.
The drive to his house was short, as it always had been. No one was home, mum was at the hospital, Emily was at daycare and Bryan must've been at his garage. Oliver would've taken Tabitha to the location for their date immediately after school, but he forgot the food he had for her, hence the detour. He got out of the car, ready to open hers, just to see Tabitha already out of the car.
"I thought I was supposed to open your door for you. Y'know, chivalry and all."
Tabitha shrugged. "You don't have to if you don't want to." He opened the door of the house, and she silently followed behind him. The house smelt of frosting and cookies, and Oliver could hear the sharp intake of breath from Tabitha as it was extremely quiet in the house.
"Yes, I do it for everyone. And I especially like you, so I'm definitely opening the door for you now." Tabitha finally got into his sight, as he turned to her. And there she was, as beautiful as she did when he decided to approach her in the library, asking for books that he definitely didn't need. There was something extremely desolate about the way she was crouched, gorgeous eyes fixated on a book, eyes that held ruin and secrets. It wasn't his intention to fall for her, then again, when had anyone ever intended to fall in love with someone.
She pinched the skin of his hand, as she looked away from him, muttering something under her breath. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "It smells incredible in here." She observed, crouching on the arm of the couch.
"Yeah, come on. I made cookies." He said nonchalantly, as if he hadn't almost burnt the house down trying to bake cupcakes and cookies for her. Oliver held her hand, as they walked into the kitchen. The cookies sat on the cooling tray, on the counter, clearly put there by his mother. Oliver put them in the Tupperware, and eyed the cupcakes next to them, and the greedy look in Tabitha's eyes.
"Want one?" She nodded, eyes bright. He gave her a cupcake, the same one that had the letter T on it. It was supposed to spell out her name, but then again, it was hard to ignore her beautiful eyes.
Tabitha looked at him confused, and then saw the rest of the cupcakes that had the rest of her name on them. Oliver knew she was blushing, and he most definitely knew that red had sprouted on his cheeks. Clearing his throat, he turned to the food and away from Tabitha.
"Do you need help?" She asked, once Oliver was sure she was done with the cupcake. Tabitha was peeking over his shoulders, which was one of his biggest pet peeves, but he didn't say that. Oliver just grabbed her waist, and sat her on the counter. Tabitha squealed, and held on to his shoulders, eyes wide and lips parted softly.
"You just..." She trailed off.
Oliver's fingers twitched to roam her waist, to feel her but he instead used one finger to push the crumbs that rested on her lip. Her hands were still on his shoulder and everything else fizzled into silence. "I can do it myself, all you need to do is sit here and look absolutely gorgeous." He chuckled, and watched the smile on her face grow. Oliver knew his heart was racing, despite the smile on his face. Proximity with Tabitha was unnerving, in the sense where she blurred everything that wasn't her. Short, sharp, rhythmic breaths left her, and when he looked up from gawking at her lips, he almost fell to his knees.
Everything about her eyes were like a siren's, preying on the basic attraction he felt for her, until he was completely under her spell. Tabitha was like a enchantress, magic in everything she did. He didn't realize how he was inching closer to her until his nose brushed hers. When his lips finally touched hers, the entire world paused, and crashed.
Tabitha kissed him slowly, and softly like everything else could wait. There was a sweetness to her lips, like frosted sugar, like the goodness of everything saccharine in the world. Her lips moving against his was slow, and languidly pleasing. His hands were slowly encompassing her waist, and he was getting lightheaded. His jaw was tilted, and she kissed him back, with just as much fervor as he did. His lips melded against her perfectly, and her hands brushed the thin material over the pulse on his neck. Oliver was putty, under the spell she'd woven.
Her hands pressed against the nape of his neck and pulled the locks in her hand. Tabitha's body curved against his, her fingers were on her thigh, and he pressed a rhythm on her legging covered thighs, one that had her arching her chest into his. Her tongue traced the outline of his lips, and when Tabitha groaned softly, his tongue slipped inside. She let out a tiny, breathy moan that made his head swirl, everything else completely forgotten. His heart was beyond repair, beating so fast he was afraid it'll bust out of his chest. Can she feel the way he's trembling for her, the way he would do anything for her?
Oliver pushed back, and God, she looked just like a dream, swollen lips, and bright eyes. His forehead was against hers, and she was breathing harshly. "Tabitha, I am completely enamoured with you." Oliver whispered against her lips, afraid to break the delicate silence. Everything I am is enamoured by you, my love. Tabitha pulled back, and let her finger brush his lip, and everything about the situation hit him, the scenario was hazy and dreamlike, like a dream. Temptation glazed the mahogany of her eyes, and her eyes curved when she smiled prettily at him.
She kissed him again, and he knew everything she was trying to say. I love you too, Tabitha.
