"Father? What are you doing here?"
He looks at me plainly.
"I've come to visit you son, our last meeting months ago ended on bad terms and I am here to ask you to join me for a feast at the mansion."
I feel Kagome trying to see past me at our unexpected guest and my Father notices her.
"She may come along as well, since she is the future Mother of your child she is more than welcome." She stand beside me and looks at him in shock.
"You must be InuYasha's Father Inu no Taishio, it's nice to finally meet you."
She extends her hand to him and for a second I think he won't return it, but he surprises me by taking her hand in his and giving it a little shake.
"And you must be Ms. Kagome Higurashi, you are looking quite well young lady."
She smiles.
"Thank you."
He nods.
"Would you be interested in coming back to InuYasha's childhood home for a feast?"
She looks up at me awaiting my answer and I sigh.
"Sure we'll come with you.."
He then turns on his heels and tells us to follow, we put on our shoes and follow him to a white limo an I can tell Kagome is enthralled but I'm just annoyed.
I help Kagome in and we sit across from my Father.
"Would either of you like a drink?"
I shake my head and Kagome kindly turns it down.
He grabs himself a drink then looks at me.
"I have some things for you at the mansion."
I cock my eyebrow.
"Things?"
He nods.
"Yes, things."
With that he is silent until the limo stops and he opens the door.
Letting himself out first he then helps Kagome and we all walk up to the house silently.
