Twisted Fate Chapter 45

We make our way outside and we are brought home by the same limo as before, unlocking the door to our apartment I sigh deeply.

"Damn you must be exhausted, sorry about that Kagome."

She looks at me confused.

"Why are you sorry? I had a great time and I learned a lot about your family."

I smile.

"That's good, but I know how hard it is for you to walk around so much."

She pats my shoulder.

'Carry me upstairs?"

I smirk.

"Alright."

I pick her up softly and bring her to our room, laying her on the bed she smiles up at me.

"Thank you."

I smile.

"Welcome. Now get some sleep."

She nods and quickly changes before getting into bed again.

Pulling off everything but my boxers I climb into bed beside her.

She whispers.

"Sleep well InuYasha."

I sigh contently.

"You to Kagome."

The next day we're up bright and early.

I make a quick batch of pancakes for the both of us, after we eat we get dressed and make our way to the hospital, arriving nice and early.

We head to the ultrasound area and sign Kagome in then we sit patiently in the waiting room.

Kagome turns to me, her face a little flushed.

"I'm scared."

I give her a confused look.

"Why? Its just an ultrasound Kagome, we get to see the babies remember?"

She bites her lip and looks down at her hands.

Inching my way closer to her I take her hand in mine and whisper.

"Don't worry its gonna be fine I promise."
