Looking up from the letter I quickly blink away the tears that were beginning to form, tucking the letter back into the book I make my way downstairs silently.
Walking into the crowded living room I take a moment to take it all in.
To my left is Kagome's Mother holding little Botan while she talks happily to both my Father and Kagome's Grandfather.
To my right I see Kagome smiling ear to ear as she watches Sango hold Jirou while Miroku talks to Sota near by.
This is my family, though we may be a weird looking bunch we're still a family.
I used to be so afraid of being alone all my life but seeing Kagome smile at me I know for a fact I'll never be alone.
Smiling back at her I realize something. As long as I have Kagome by my side, I'm unstoppable.
