I watch as Kagome's eyes grow to the size of saucers.
"This place is huge and so beautiful!"
My Father smiles proudly.
"How about I show you around a little?"
She smiles.
"That'd be wonderful."
We walk up the first flight of stairs and he shows her the kitchen, living room, study and then the main guest room.
Entering there is a huge bed with red silk sheets, the walls are a warm grey and its well lit by the two large windows.
On the far wall there are two huge portraits, one featuring my Father and Mother and the other featuring me as a baby.
Kagome notices them and waddles over, my Father and I following close behind.
"This is the first of many portraits we got done of InuYasha. His Mother insisted on getting as many as possible."
I blush getting slightly embarrassed by my pudgy baby portrait, not to mention my huge ears that are clearly visible.
Kagome smiles.
"InuYasha you were so adorable!! How old is he in the picture?"
My Father smirks at me.
"He was six months."
Kagome swoons.
Rolling my eyes I glare at my Father which he ignores.
"We better get down to the dinning room I'm sure dinner is long ready by now."
Kagome nods.
"Alright sounds good."
We let my Father lead the way then silently enter the dinning room which is now full of wonderful looking food and fancy cutlery.
I help Kagome sit in one of the chairs then take the seat beside her, as my Father takes the seat across from us.
I eat silently, vaguely listening to their conversation until the word baby comes up.
