The doctor comes in with our papers and looks at Kagome, he then checks how far along she is and speaks calmly.
"Alright Ms.H your doing very well your already 6 cm dilated it's still to early for an epidural so just try and breathe through this alright?"
She opens her eyes and looks at him seriously.
"Alright."
Time seems to slow after this and a minute feels like a damn hour.
I feel like I'm starting to lose my mind from watching the woman I love in so much pain knowing that half of this was my damn fault.
The doctor finally comes back in and checks her again before telling the nurse to go get the anesthetist. Kagome looks at me sadly and I kiss her forehead while holding her hand tightly.
They give her the epidural and a half hour later she is like a whole new person, calm and collected.
She smiles at me weakly.
"That epidural did wonders, I'm in almost no pain at all."
I smile.
"I'm glad, I hated seeing you like that."
She looks down at her belly then gives me a worried look.
"I have a weird feeling, can you go get a nurse."
I give her a concerned look but do as she asks.
