A few days after the boys come home we arrange a day for Kagome's family, my Father and Miroku and Sango to come visit us.
Shortly after they arrive I run upstairs to grab Jirou's pacifier then start making my way back downstairs when suddenly something catches my eye.
Turning to look at it I notice it's one of the baby books my Mother had made for me.
Walking over I take it down from the shelf and flip it open to a random page.
I look through the pages until it becomes nothing but blank.
Sighing to myself I close the book when suddenly something falls out, looking down I see a white envelope with my name written on it.
Quickly putting the book back on the shelf I bend down and retrieve the letter, opening it I am surprised to see my Mothers writing.
It reads:
"Dear InuYasha, if you are reading this you must be a grown man, my how time flies. By finding this letter you must have noticed that I left a lot of your third book blank, this was not an accident. The reason they are blank is because I want you to fill them with your own adventures in life. I know one day you'll have a family of your own and you'll be able to decorate the pages with your own memories. I am so sorry I can't be there in person but always remember I am there in spirit. From the moment you were born I knew you'd grown into an amazing man, you make me so proud InuYasha. Go out there and live life to the fullest never hold yourself back! Life is meant to be liven while we have the chance, I know you'll continue to make me proud. Love always. -Mom.
