Ten POV
I could feel someone staring at me. I took a quick glance around the room, but saw nothing. I turned back to the conversation I was having with Got7, but saw that most of them split off, and it was just me and Yugyeom.
"What did you tell Bam this time?" I asked him.
"I told him I was having dinner with old friends," Yugyeom replied.
"You don't think he's getting suspicious, do you?"
"Nope. As long as I treat him to his favorite foods afterwards, all is forgotten."
I felt the feeling agains, so I turned around and saw Johnny of NCT looking at me. His expression was unreadable, and I turned back to Yugyeom.
"What is up with NCT's golden boy?"
He shrugged, "Maybe he's just out of it. These meetings can get pretty boring."
"Leave it to NCT to be creepy," Ten smiled when he heard the voice behind him.
"Hello, Zico."
Zico appeared beside Yugyeom with mischievous eyes that were surely accompanied by a smile under the mask. His hair was dyed black and was shiny with gel. He wore a black suit with a bright, mustard yellow shirt underneath. The whole outfit was accompanied with luxury jewelry. While they weren't the top group, BlockB was the group you wanted as an ally and not an enemy.
"How are things in WayVille?" He asked.
"Going well," Ten replied.
"What about Uncle Lee?"
"Feeling a bit ill, but still the same."
BlockB was a new organization when Eleven Lee was in charge of WayV. She treated the boys like her own sons, and Zico became a brother to Ten after she passed. The two groups were strong allies, and that helped WayV rise to the top. Because if you messed with WayV, then BlockB would most definitely be involved.
"I feel like your time is coming," Zico said. "You're ready to be leader. It's only a matter of time."
"Thank you, but my father is still going strong, and I could never live up to my mother's legacy."
"Whatever you say. But I can't wait to see the look on these bitches' face when you show them what Eleven Lee's son can do."
Zico walked away, and Yugyeom looked at Ten.
"He scares me," He said.
"He used to scare me too, but he would kill for me. So I feel more safe than scared."
"Other groups are terrified of them. It's literally a group rule in Got7 to not piss off BlockB."
Ten laughed, "I'll admit, that's a good idea."
Johnny POV
I watched Ten from the corner of the room. He was much more alert in his 'Future Leader' mode, and it made it impossible to approach him. I wouldn't be able to anyway, so lurking in the corner was all I could do.
"You haven't left the corner in twenty minutes," Yuta slid up next to me.
"I'm not in a socializing mood," I said.
"You're staring down your target. Way to be discreet."
I rolled my eyes, "He doesn't know who I am."
"The other groups will start to talk."
"Fuck off," I growled.
Yuta shrugged and walked away. I sighed and turned my gaze back to Ten, who was talking to Zico of BlockB. It then hit me that the two organizations are strong allies. I mentally slapped myself for forgetting this detail.
"Way to go, Johnny. You have to kill Ten and not piss off BlockB at the same time. What a blessed life you live."
Double update!!!!! I hope y'all liked this chapter. The next chapter will probably be Jaeyong's date, then it'll go back to Johnten. Here's Zico for this story:
