3rd Person POV

"She has amazing form," Ten whispered and gestured to the ballerina on stage.

"She does," Johnny turned to look at him, "but yours is better."

"You're lucky this pasta is good, or else your cheesiness would make me lose my appetite," Ten rolled his eyes.

"If you get hungry," Johnny slid closer and put his lips close to Ten's ear, "you could always eat me."

It took all of Ten's strength and self control to keep his voice steady, "Pervert."

Johnny smiled at Ten's reaction as he twirled strands of pasta around his fork. The evening was going perfectly, and he was pleased that he was able to give Ten a magical first date. He was also pleased that his date hadn't asked where he got the money for a luxury car and private seats in a fancy theater with dinner. Even though he knew that he and Ten had the same occupation, neither of them would give a truthful answer as to where their wealth came from.

"Does this meet your expectations?" He asked Ten, who was back to intently watching the show.

"That and more," Ten smiled. "This is my favorite ballet."

"I know."

"How did you know?"

"Lisa told me."

"Makes sense," Ten said. "Yugyeom probably forgot, and I'm not sure if Bambam knows what ballet is."

Johnny laughed, "Knowing him, he probably thinks it's a fancy dish."

"Ballet with a side of grand jete served with pirouette on the rocks," Ten said in English with a French accent.

Johnny laughed again, causing the people in the box next to them to glare at him. Ten's phone buzzed aggressively in his pocket, and he pulled it out. The screen lit up the dark box like the Moon in the midnight sky, and Ten saw that Chenle was calling him, which he never did unless it was important.

"I need to take this," Ten whispered before exiting the box. He stepped out into the hall and accepted the call.

"WE FOUND SOMETHING!" Chenle's high pitched voice blared in Ten's ear.

"What did you find that's soooo important that you interrupted my date to tell me?" Ten huffed.

"Yangyang found a hair!"

"Okay. Where's the oh so important part?"

"We found it in Lea's penthouse. The place was wiped clean except for the hair. It's not hers either."

That caught Ten's interest, "Where are you now?"

"Still at the penthouse."

Ten checked the time, "My date ends in an hour. Meet me on the 23rd floor."

"I'll tell the others."

Ten was smiling from ear to ear as he hung up. He had been itching for some action, and this was the scratch he needed. He reentered the box and slid into his spot beside Johnny.

"What was that about?" Johnny asked.

"Just Chenle being a pain in the ass," Ten lied.

Johnny smiled and wrapped an arm around Ten. Ten snuggled up to his date and sighed happily.

This was the best day ever.

Me: "Alright it hasn't been that long since I've updated. I'll be fine.
Me: *checks publication date of Chapter 30 and sees that it was April 25*
Me: "Shit"

Anygays hello everyone!!! Sorry it took me so long to update. Y'all are probably tired of hearing excuses, so I'm not going to give you one.

I hoped you liked this chapter. We're a little over halfway through the story, and I'm working out how I want to end it. I also might halt the story momentarily to severely edit it, since there are a lot of extra details that make the story too much.

I'm still thinking about putting out mini books pursuing the side ships in this story and telling their stories. There will probably only be three (Jaeyong, Norenmin, and Chenji.) The Jaeyong book will be the only one that has the full story take place after this book. The others will be telling the couple's story that took place during this book.

Also I might make the Jaeyong book a collaborative project, so if you're interested, just comment on this paragraph. I'd preferably like it if you have books published, so I can check out your writing style. I might also DM people so see if they want to collaborate. So yeah.
