Look at this mood on a fun night, our only party.
Take off the cluttered jacket.
This instinct makes my heart flutter.
Do you wanna live with the eyes that didn't see me?That's My Jam by B.A.P
Johnny POV
I was really late. Our driver was out with Boss, so I had rushed to catch a bus and ended up sandwiched between an old lady and a guy who smelled like marijuana. The bus came to a stop, and I ran the rest of the way to Resonance Dance Studio.
It was a huge building, and was way bigger than a normal studio should be. The doors parted automatically, and I stepped inside the cool building. A group of girls breezed passed me, and one of them gave me a smile paired with a wink. She wasn't my type, so I ignored her. I walked up to the front desk where a blonde boy sat behind it. He was in the process of blowing a gum bubble, but it popped when he noticed me.
"Do you need something?" He asked me.
"What room is Ten in?" I replied.
He rolled his eyes and looked at me with an annoyed expression, "People like you need to get it in your heads that Ten isn't interested in you. You're making a fool of yourself by showing up here."
"Um.....I'm not here to ask him out. We're working on a project together."
The boy sighed, "Fine. He's on Floor 3 in Room 23. If you end up being one of those creeps, I'll be laughing my ass off when security throws you out."
"O-Okay. Thanks."
I snuck a look at his name tag before walking to the elevator.
'Renjun'
"That can't be the same guy Jeno and Jamein like," I thought as the elevator carried me up. "Lucky them."
I exited the elevator and determined by the signs on the wall that Room 23 was on the right. As I walked down the hall I saw a dance troupe toss someone in the air, a ballerina land a flawless grand jeté, and a woman spin her body skillfully around a pole.
I heard and felt loud bass come from a room, and I saw that it was marked 23. I peered inside the room and saw Ten dancing to the music. The singer hit a high note, and Ten lip synced along. I recognized the song as That's My Jam by B.A.P, and my head nodded along to the beat.
The song stopped, and Ten jogged over the the corner of the room. He took a sip from his water bottle, saw me, and spit the water out. I smiled and pushed the door to the studio open.
"I didn't see you there," Ten said as he wiped his mouth.
"You seemed to be in your zone, so I didn't want to disturb you," I replied.
I couldn't tell him that I had been mesmerized by his movements. He was in fact the god-like dancer people said he was. But he was also my enemy, so I pushed the memory of his dancing to the back of my mind.
"I was mostly free styling. It's my favorite way to warm up," His voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"It looked good. If I didn't know the song I'd think that was the actual choreo."
Ten's face glowed at the compliment. He set his bottle down and took a place at the center of the room.
"Cmon," He gestured for me to come closer. "We have a competition to win."
Hi everyone! I know this chapter was kinda short and dull, but I want to build up to when Johnny and Ten start to connect. Forgive me if the chapters are a bit dry, but I promise that it'll get better soon.
Here's a picture of Taeil being fine as hell to apologize:
See y'all in the next chapter!!! 🥺
