Ten POV
"I come bearing gifts!" Yugyeom plopped down at our table with bags of of takeout from Cherry Bomb Diner.
"Thank Jisoos! I'm starving," I snatched my cold noodles out of one of the bags.
"I bet you are," Lisa said. "Staring at the new guy must've been so tiring."
"He's probably exhausted from being that hot," I said.
"Speaking of the new guy," Rosé pointed her spoon to where Johnny was sitting alone.
"You should go talk to him," BamBam said.
"That's not happening," I replied.
"Why not?"
"You expect me to function around someone that fine?"
"You function well around me. And I'm stunning," He smirked.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night. And fine, I'll go talk to him. But only because I'm done with you idiots."
I threw down my chopsticks and strutted over to where Johnny was sitting. He was peacefully drawing, and I felt bad for disturbing him when he looked up at me. The light breeze blew his hair in front of his chocolate brown eyes, and I was thankful to Mother Nature for preventing me from getting lost in them.
"Can I help you?" He asked.
"I-I'm sorry if I'm bothering you. You're sitting alone, and I don't want you to feel lonely on your first day."
"Oh. Thanks."
"May I sit?" I asked shyly.
"Yeah. Go ahead," He gestured to the seat in front of him.
"Whatcha drawing?" I asked in English hoping it made him more comfortable.
He looked surprised, but quickly replied with, "Can't think of anything. I'm better at photography, but I consider drawing as a way to discreetly photograph people."
I let out a giggle, "Makes sense."
He smiled at me, and I felt all the air leave my lungs. His face went from 'Aphrodite's son' to 'Must Protecc' in less than two seconds. I caught myself staring and quickly composed myself.
"I'll see you around, Johnny," I got up from the bench and sped back over to where my friends were watching us.
"Congrats, Ten," Lisa said. "He knows you exist now."
I flipped her off as I slurped up my remaining noodles.
"Um, is anyone going to save Renjun from Nomin?" Rosé asked.
We looked over to where Renjun sat in between the duo. Renjun was writing something while Jeno and Jaemin battled for his attention.
"He'll be fine," I said. "Part of him likes the attention by the way he's blushing."
Renjun POV
"Someone save me."
