3rd Person POV
Today was the day of the competition, and Jungwoo was rushing to make everything perfect. Right now he was sewing up Ten's pantleg, but he was fine with that. Ten needed something, and he went to Jungwoo instead of Johnny. In Johnny's defense, he couldn't sew, but all Jungwoo did with that information was add it to the growing list of Things Johnny Can't Do That He Can.
"Thank you for doing this, Jungwoo-hyung," Ten said.
"It's not big deal," He replied. "I'm always at your service."
Ten smiled brightly, and Jungwoo looked up just in time to see it. He couldn't pinpoint when Ten's smile began to make him feel butterflies, but it had probably been sometime around when he first saw Ten at Resonance Dance Studio.
He had gone there with Taeyong a few months ago and as they were walking past a room, Jungwoo was hypnotized by and elegant and somehow sparkling man dancing to That's What I Want by Lil Nas X.
"Who is that?" Jungwoo asked.
"Ten Lee," Taeyong replied. "He's one of the best in the area. Probably is the best."
"Hm," Was all Jungwoo said.
Ever since then he had been infatuated with Ten. He was working his way up to making a move, but a certain person was in his wa-
"SNAP OUT OF IT JUNGWOO!"
Jungwoo blinked and saw Amber in front of him. She was a vocal instructor that had volunteered to help. She and Jungwoo were also good friends.
"Ten came to get me after you weren't responding," Amber said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," He replied.
"Something tells me that this has something to do with Ten," She said as she helped Jungwoo up.
"You would be correct."
"Why won't you just confess to him?"
"Because he's head over heels for this other guy who doesn't do shit for him. I can do so much for him that Johnny can't, but I'm still in the friend zone."
They sat down on a bench in the empty hall, and Amber wrapped an arm around the younger.
"I really do think that you should at least try to ask him out," She said. "Maybe it'll change his mind."
Jungwoo scoffed, "That would be like asking IU to stop being talented. It's impossible."
Amber let out a little laugh, "Only you would make that comparison."
Meanwhile, Johnny had his back against the wall. He had been intently listening to their conversation, and he didn't like what he heard. He did take a little satisfaction in the fact that Ten wanted him and not Jungwoo. Johnny walked backstage and sat down beside Ten.
"You were gone for a bit," Ten said.
"Just had to make sure I looked good enough to perform with The Almighty Ten Lee."
Ten giggled, "Is that was people call me?"
"Pretty damn close to it."
Johnny saw Jungwoo walk into the room with Amber at his side. He looked between Johnny and Ten, and when his gaze came back to Johnny, he couldn't help but wink at the silently jealous Jungwoo. He had a plan forming in his mind, and it would make sure that Johnny SEO was the one Ten would call his.
