The Rants Of A Lost Soul

As i was sitting just minding my business. ..dont worry an apple didnt fall on my head..I aint newton! Well it wouldn't be surprised if I fell on the apple! Anyways as I was sitting and doing what I do best...nothing! I noticed a mother walking down the road with her little children. Now you must be wondering why I am writing about such mundane activities, but what I saw actually got me thinking.
The mother had dressed her little girl in a pretty little halter necked dress... well I do agree that for kids clothing that dress was pretty but the very fact that a girl who was barely 5 years old wore it was what startled me.
A skinny kid, with hair cut short, wearing a dress made in a style that suited only girls who had the "body" for it made me sit a while longer and think about what is wrong with the society.
In a country where morals are given such high value,that to see they are being followed we have the moral police who without second thought would thrash someone for being too western and giving someone a gift on valentines day. As a girl living in this country, any other person of the female species would atleast once (which is the biggest understatement I could make today) have heard someone remotely related to them say " no beta, dont wear that...it is against our culture...what will people say?!" But these same people are the once that will go out and buy a dress "that is not of our culture" for their children. Hypocrisy is the word.

And then they sit and criticise anyone who dare wear a peice of clothing that minutely reveals a little skin and calls them 'uncultured '. This is what I dont understand. .. mediocrity is the end of development.
If you cannot keep your mind open to a little change, how do you expect the country to develope. Development is change and to accept change we need to have the balls to realise that just because the girl was wearin a short dress, it does not give a man an invitation to rape her. They should realise that just how men can wear shorts and roam around with their legs open, cause its hot, so can women....
I know that me, an insignificant girl, sittin in her room in a small town, writing this cannot change the entire country, but this girls sitting in her room can tell the world what is happening in this country.
And what is happening is bullshit! In simple words it is the end of the world for us!

I know this whatever just got a lot intense...not my intention. ...I just typed what was in my head...well I could have also written an answer or two that I have to learn for my exam tomorrow, but hey, I aint that mean!!
anyways everytime I write isnt going to be all serious and intense. ...:P
