Finding us

Chapter 96

"Where are we going??" Priya looked around. They were in a private jet, a bit bigger than Abhi's private jet in which they'd gone to Hawaii for new year.

Priya had heard and even been part of the wedding party travelling to a wedding in a bus or a train, or even cars. It sure had left her speechless when she'd found both their families, and closest friends in the airport that morning, boarding the flight with them.

It was just immediate family and a few friends, but still Priya's head was reeling - it looked to her like Rohan had left no stone unturned for their wedding!!

It was obvious now - it would be a destination wedding. But where??

She was sitting beside Diya, and Aarna and irritating them both ever since the flight had taken off half n hour ago, but nobody was answering her!!

Rohan was somewhere at the back of the flight, deep in discussion with the men. Priya hadn't even had a good look at him since their wedding shopping a few weeks ago!! Even today, Veer had come to pick her up. And Rohan had been outside the jet, in a deep phone conversation when she'd arrived with her family.

Their gaze had clashed for a brief second. She hadn't even been able to admire how handsome he'd looked in the baby pink shirt he'd had on!!

"Batao na D!! You're supposed to be my best friend!!" Priya shook Diya's arm. But Diya was dozing on Priya's shoulder already!

"D!!!" Priya whined.

"Hmm Nikki please lemme sleep!!" Diya mumbled, burying her head deeper at the crook of Priya's neck.

"D!! This is me, your Priya, not your Nikki!!" Priya hissed in a low voice. Nikhil would be after her blood if he heard her using his name 'Nikki' !

"Huh?" Diya squinted her eyes and looked around.

"Are we there yet?" She jumped to her feet.

"No... I don't know.. where are we going?" Priya glared at her best friend.

"Your wedding destination dumbo!" Diya grumbled before she turned to look around for Nikhil, and when she found him at the back of the jet, his gaze on her, Diya blushed, but blew him a kiss, making him smirk inspite of the pink coloring his cheeks.

Veer mimicked puking, whilst Abh, Rohan and Kunal smirked, yelling "NIKKI!!"

"Diya!!!" Priya whined.

But the captain announced their descent, and everyone took their seats. Even Priya managed to blush and grin excitedly as she looked out the window.

She could make out a large water body towards one side, but couldn't make out anything else, thanks to the clouds.

"You're gonna get the shock of your life!" Diya grinned, clutching Priya's hand tightly as they felt the plane moving down.

Priya twisted her mouth but didn't say anything. She'd waited for so many months - what's a few more minutes?

It took them a good half an hour for the plane to land, and for the wedding party to all get out of the plane. Priya had been smirking - they'd have to walk out of the airport, and then he'd catch the name of this city right outside the airport!!

She was just patting her shoulder mentally for her genius idea, when her eyes landed on the black SUVs all parked neatly a little away from their plane.

"Let's go" Rohan was leading the way to one of the SUV's, and everyone else followed.

Priya's heart was beating in her ears - this was all too much... all too Bollywood movie-ish!! Too lavish, too.... Too out of the world!
