Finishing the last of his lassi, Nikhil gazed at Diya as she hummed softly under her breath and put away their trash into the bin and cleared out the area.

She gulped down water from her bag before handing the bottle to Nikhil who took it gratefully.

"Chale?" She stifled a yawn and stretched, her body ready to slump down and rest right here on this hard bench!

She so understood Ishaan's words of never wanting to get up from here - is she growing too old for binge eating junk food?

"Let's go" Nikhil nodded.

This time, they walked on the parallel, less-crowded street, walking side by side in a rather comfortable silence. Whilst Diya's exhaustion kept her mouth shut, Nikhil's heart was fluttering pleasantly at the realisation that even after the end of their second date now Diya was still here beside him!

"So.. did you enjoy today?" Nikhil asked, as they finally reached his car.

"I've not had this much fun in a long time!!" Diya smiled brightly at him.

"The last time I had such street food was around 3-4 years ago... Shruthi had dragged me here because she didn't want to be alone... " Nikhil shrugged.

"What?? Seriously?? 3 years?" Diya gaped at him in shock.

"I'm not big on such street food.... I like simple wholesome food... Can't tolerate spicy" he opened the car door for her.

"But gol-gappa is wholesome food!! You make a hole in it before you eat it!" She said, sounding so shocked about his dislike for street food that he couldn't even bring himself to laugh at her words!

"Still... I like samosas..." He added, getting into the car and closing his side of the door shut.

"Samosa isn't street food!!" she narrowed her eyes at him.

The next part of Diya's argument was lost in her mouth as he moved forward to fix her seat belt. With him so close to her, the soft fragrance of his deo mingling with his musk made her take a whiff - he did smell really good! He hadn't worn his jacket after he'd freshened up earlier, and in that formal shirt and fitting trousers he truly looked like any girl's dream boy!

Handsome couldn't even begin to justify how good he looked!! With him so close, Diya could appreciate his perfect thick eyebrows and his beautiful eyes, and his hair that looked so soft....

"I'm not stopping you from eating junk!" He shook his head, fixing her seatbelt in place and finally drawing her to reality.

Diya didn't answer, and frowning at the sudden silence, he looked up, to find himself face to face with her, her lips tantalizingly close to him. Her sweet flowery perfume was slowly intoxicating him - oh how he wanted time to just pause?

"That's a very nice perfume" his voice was thick and hoarse as he snapped his gaze to her hair, before fondly tucking a stray strand behind her ear and moving back on his seat.

"Hmm.. " her voice too was thick and hoarse he realized, and beads of sweat had begun to pool on her forehead.

But blasting on the AC, he pulled out a kerchief from his trouser pocket as he moved forward and fondly patted her forehead, wiping off the sweat.

Diya stared at him with her eyes going wide, and as Nikhil flicked his eyes to her's, he saw his shy face reflected on her hauntingly beautiful eyes with her orbs completely pitch-black with her dialated pupils!

As he straightened himself and put the kerchief back into his pocket, she stared at him, open mouthed, specially at the pocket into which the piece of cloth had disappeared.
