The climb down the peak was a silent journey. Rohan and Priya walked silently together at the back whilst Nikhil and Diya walked in front of them. They'd stayed at the peak for a good half hour, till Nikhil's tummy had rumbled loudly in huger of course!

They were to have lunch at the resort cafe, located a little below the peak. It was another 10 minutes walk from the peak, through a narrow cobbled path.

They'd barely stepped into the cafe when it'd started raining. And as Rohan had expected, Priya's eyes shone filled with love as she watched the rain, looking rather blissful!

What's with her and the rain?? Would she ever even gaze at him with that expression on her face? He pouted.

"Well, looks like the hot spring is off our agenda today!" Nikhil groaned.

The hot spring gets closed for rains, he added.

"There's a waterfall not too far from here... We can go there" Rohan suggested. And as the girls clapped and squealed, Nikhil groaned.

He'd been looking forward to relaxing in the hot spring and gazing at Diya. Oh how he hated waterfalls?!

But as he gazed at Diya's excited face, he sighed. What would he not give to have her happy and smiling like this?! And going to that waterfall was hardly anything!

The cafe was deserted. But the food was great. And they all ate hungrily. Even Nikhil ate his food without gaping much at Diya, who was stuffing her face with food, not giving a toss about anyone!

Rohan however kept flicking his gaze to Priya but she too was busy filling her tummy, not bothering to see how Rohan gazed at her, or how she had a thin moustache of cream from the glass of lassi on which she'd been sipping!

He had felt a ripple pass through him as they'd kissed at the peak earlier. He hadn't felt anything quite like this ever before, but he liked that feeling of floating high above the sky. Or maybe it was the feeling of having Priya in his arms as he floated away in the sky?!

What he didn't like was the sinking feeling he felt at the pit of his stomach, along with a knot that made his throat constrict with emotion. Why he felt that way, he didn't know. But he didn't like that feeling. That feeling terrified him. And the more be thought of Priya and forever, the more that feeling grew in him!

"How come it's all empty empty in here??" Diya asked, indicating the empty cafe around them, once she'd finished her lunch gulped down a large glass of lassi in a single go.

Nikhil sighed at the moustache creame over her upper lip that she licked with her tongue and giggled at Priya.

Priya took a napkin and wiped her mouth for her and Diya rested her head on Priya's shoulder before she winked at Rohan.

And he narrowed his eyes at her, but Diya sighed and wrapped an arm around Priya's shoulder before kissing her cheek, all the whole gazing at Rohan, who's eyes turned to slits and his nostrils flared in anger.

"We rented this whole resort for the day" Nikhil shrugged, indicating himself and Rohan, whilst Rohan continued to gaze at Diya with a mixture of jealousy and irritation.

Priya had chosen to sit next to her best friend, leaving him to choose the seat next to Nikhil. And though he'd enjoyed sitting in front of Priya and gazing at her to his heart's content, it now dawned on him that had he sat next to her, he too could have had rested his head on Priya's shoulder and nuzzled her neck!

"You rented the whole place??" Both the girls gaped at the men in shock.

"Wanted some privacy!" Rohan shrugged nonchalantly. It had been his PA's idea to rent out the place for the day to avoid the paparazzi, and also to avoid getting any pictures of him and Priya clicked together.
