After a long round of presentations, the class finally came to an end, and students began to stand up one by one while gathering their things. They packed their belongings and began to circle each other, complimenting everyone's work."Taehyung-oppa's project was the best one!" A girl chirped from the corner of the room, and Jeongguk watched as one of their classmates threw an arm over Taehyung.
"Wow, hyung, your presentation was fire," the man chuckled, patting the other's chest fondly. "You and... Jeongguk, was it? You two killed it." Jeongguk's cheeks tinted pink as the guy now looked directly at him. "Don't know much about you, man, but nice job!"
"Yeah, good job!" Another voice called while others began to scatter out of the classroom at random intervals.
Jeongguk cracked a small smile. "T-Thanks.."
"Jeongguk and Taehyung?" It was then that the two had heard their professor's voice from where he sat at his desk. "May I speak with you both for a sec?"
The males directed their gaze towards the professor, glanced at each other, then gave simultaneous nods.
"Of course, sir."
When the students all escorted themselves out, and the classroom became empty except for the three remaining men, Taehyung and Jeongguk made careful steps to stand beside each other next to the teacher's desk.
And the professor looked up, a copy of the book of poems the two had distributed for their presentation in his hands.
"I just wanted a chance to tell you both that..." The man sighed briefly. "That presentation you did today was probably the best one I've ever seen in all my years of teaching."
Jeongguk let out a quiet breath, wide eyes settled over the man with disbelief. "W-Wha—... Really...?"
"Yes. Really." He clasped his hands together and gave a faint smile. "Jeongguk, your narration was perfectly done. You captured all the points you mentioned you wanted to cover with the initial concept sheet I had you all hand in. The book was an amazing idea, and the photography was outstanding. Really amazing."
The boy smiled sheepishly, turned to look at Taehyung who was smiling back at him with a fond gaze.
"I agree. Jeongguk was incredible." Taehyung didn't dare break away from looking directly at the younger, who was bouncing a little in excitement. He found him to be absolutely adorable, in his eyes. "Our presentation was only possible thanks to him."
The professor gave a light chuckle. "Taehyung-ah, you were in charge of the poems, correct?"
Taehyung finally broke his gaze on Jeongguk and looked to the professor, who was skimming through the book, scattering pages over each other just to get short glimpses of them. "Ah.. Yes. That was me."
