Werewolves are fun to be around. Especially the ones who don't know. Because when they finally do break the curse they're internally grateful that you helped them through that process. They usually want to turn into a hybrid after that which I graciously accept. Most of them end up being close friends as they are all assholes like I am.
Mystic Grill
"Can't even go to the bathroom, huh" Colden mused as Caroline stumbled into him
"I slim---I'm slipped. I slipped"
"oh, you're drunk as hell"
he leads her towards the bar, "Coffee for her" the bar man nods " what's wrong"
"Am I shallow?"
"Who the fuck said you were?" he asked
tears start coming from her eyes, "I don't mean to be. I wanna be deep. I wanna be, like...the abyss deep"
"You are a deep person" Colden kisses her cheek "You're very thoughtful"
she smiles through her tears, "Can you take me home?"
"I'll take you anywhere" then picks her up bridal style going towards the door
outside he runs into Sheriff Forbes
"What happened is she okay?"
Colden was about to answer when Caroline said, "Like you care"
"She's drunk"
"As a skunk"
Colden tried really hard not to smile
it was weird because he was the master of emotions but Caroline makes it so hard
"Are they serving you in there?" the Sheriff asked
"I'll take her home" Colden told "I haven't been drinking"
that was a horrible lie but liquor didn't really affect him
"I would appreciate that, Colden, thank you" she looks to Caroline "You and I will discuss this later"
"Can't wait"
Colden continues carrying to his car

"You good?" Colden asked
"No" she mumbled "How come every one says I'm shallow but you don't. Someone is lying"
"They don't know you like I do" Colden told looking her over with a fond smile
"I just wish..."
"What do you wish? I'll try my damn hardest to make it true"
"Wish that life was...different"
Colden lays down behind her wrapping his arms around her, "That's a pretty broad wish"
her giggle rings out

Caroline's window the next night
Colden climbs on her a tree and jumps to her window seal sitting on the window
"Hey"
she turns around and doesn't look happy "What are you doing here?"
"Your window is open" he points out with a small smile "Thought you should know"
"You're not funny"
Colden sighs, "You're mad about today...about me avoiding you"
