Colden's wakes to feel someone's eyes on him

"I'm gazing lovingly at you" Caroline scoffed

"My moms downstairs" she said
he sighs getting off, "We really have to talk about your mom right now? I mean, that's just not the best pillow talk"
she giggles again kissing him

Colden groans, ever since he told her about his family being royalty once apon a time she hasn't stopped calling him that. He rolls on to the ground before getting up
"Why do you roll on the ground every morning?" she asked
"I don't know" Colden answers truthfully "I know I've done it every morning as long as I can remember....we should take a bath together"
"Sorry, can't" Caroline said "I'm decorating at the Lockwood charity gala"
"actually, I talked to Carol or whatever her name is and I'll be taking over for decorating the manor. You get to stay here and relax....so how about a shower"
she gives him a look, "Is all you think about is sex?"
"Er -- no. It usually goes Caroline, blood, sex over and over again"
she laughs and starts getting dressed
he pouts but goes to the shower alone

Mason is carrying boxes inside when Colden walks up
"Hey, Colden" he gulped
"Mason, my man"
Mason places the box on the table, "Wasn't expecting you here. Or anywhere"
"It takes a lot more then some wood and vervain to kill me" he smirked
"What did you do to Sheriff Forbes?" Mason asked "Isn't she your perfect Caroline's mother"
"She's good, Caroline's with her now" Colden answers "You're just gonna have to do your own dirty work from now on...good help is just so hard to find"
"Not a problem"
he walks away running into Bonnie on the way
she watches him leave with a look
"What did you see?" he asked
"Elena...kissing him"
"That was Katherine" Colden pats her shoulder "I don't think Elena's into the whole surfer werewolf dude thing"
he goes to find the Salvatore brothers
"Katherine's with Mason Lockwood?" Damon asked after Colden explained what he heard
"I suspected it....they got into town around the same time" Colden told
"It does make sense" Stefan mumbled
