Colden dropped Caroline off at the Grill after Damon called him about Stefan being missing
He and Damon both knock on Elena's door
Elena opens the door
"You're ignoring me" Damon said
"The 6 missed calls?" Elena said "Sorry. My phone is dead"
"What I don't understand is why you're ignoring me" Colden said walking in behind him "Not the point, is Stefan here"
"No. Why? Something wrong?"
"He went out in the woods and didn't come back. I can't get him on his phone. Colden said he wasn't with him. We figured he was here with you"
she picks up her phone and calls
"It's going straight to voice-mail. Where could he be"
Damon sighs, "You're not going to like what I'm thinking"

Miss Gibbons' Residence
Damon pounds on the door while Colden leans against a banister
"Pearl! Open this door" Damon shouts "I swear to God I'll bust through and rip your head off"
another vampire opens the door
"Pearl's not home. Hmm. Beautiful weather. Not a ray of sun in sky"
"Freak" Colden coughs
"Where's my brother?" Damon asked loudly
"Billy"
two vampires drag Stefan in the hallway
"You're dead" Damon threatens but can't get through
"Whoa. I'm sorry. You haven't been invited in. Miss Gibbons?"
an old lady walks forward
"Yes, Frederick, honey?"
"Never let these bad men in"
"I'll never let them in" the lady said
"Ugh" Stefan groaned out
"145 years left starving in a tomb, thanks to Katherine's infatuation with you and your brother. First few weeks, every single nerve in your body screams with fire. The kind of pain that can drive a person mad. Well...I thought your brother might want to get a taste of that before I killed him. Billy."
this Billy drags him away
"Uhh! Aah!" comes from Stefan
"You have a nice day"
Colden starts walking away then mutters, "Meet me at the school in ten minutes"

Mystic Falls High
Damon appears in front of the history teacher
"Well, don't you look...alive?"
"You can't hurt me"
Colden zooms in behind him taking the hand the ring is on, "It's that easy to take this ring off"
he looks frightened
"Mr. Saltzman" Elena said coming up "We need your help"
they all go into Alaric's classroom
"Stefan's in the house" Elena explains "Damon and Colden are vampires. They can't get in. We need you. I would go, but..."
"Her life means something but your doesn't" Colden told
Elena glared at him, "Stefan told me about your ring"
"What about it"
"Let me recap...You tried to kill me. I defended myself. You died. Then according to my brother, your ring brought you back to life. Am I leaving anything out?" Damon said
"Yeah" Alaric said "The part where I try and kill you again. Only this time, I don't miss"
"Really" Colden rolled his eyes "There are two of us in here and one of you"
"I'm sorry, Elena" Alaric said "But it's not my problem"
"That's a shame" Damon said "Because the woman in charge of the crowd can help you find your wife"
"You're lying" Alaric accused
"Am I?" Damon asked "Why don't you ask her for yourself? Coward. Come on, Elena"
they all start to leave
"All right!" Alaric shouted "Wait. I'll go"
"That was easy...humans" Colden mumbles
Alaric pulls out an arsenal of vampire weapons
"Teacher by day, vampire hunter by night" Damon said
Colden smirked, "He needs his own TV show"
Elena picks something up out of the box
"What are these"
"Those are tranquillizer darts filled with vervain" Alaric said
"Just get Colden and I in. We've got our own plan" Damon told
"That's your plan?" Elena asked "You two against all them"
"Er -- no" Colden told "It will be me against them. Damon will be focusing on Stefan"
Elena picks up a vervain dart
"Whoa" Alaric said "What are you doing?"
"I'm going with you guys" Elena said
"Er no" Colden said
"I can help!" she said loudly
"You'll get yourself killed" Damon told "You're not going in there"
"I'm going"
Colden smirked, "I really don't want to compel you because I think we're friend. I will if I have to, so either you stay at your house on your own or I compel you to stay there"
she pouts
"Only Caroline's pouting works on me" Colden sticks his tongue out at her

In the car
Colden is on the phone with Caroline
"Please tell me some axe murder doesn't have you in his basement making you put lotion on him because I can't hear you"
a giggle came through the phone "You're so dramatic."
"I'm dramatic" Colden scoffs "Have you met yourself? No, but seriously where are you?"
"Storm washed out Route 5. Now I'm detoured on some random backwoods path to hell"
"Maybe...you should be on the phone with me while your driving. It'll make it easier for the axe murder to get you"
"I know, right?" Caroline said "I need one of those little Bluetooth thingies"
"You know how hard it is to find those? I'd rather just get you an entirely new car....ooh birthday idea"
she didn't say anything for a moment "You are not getting me a car for my birthday"
"Oh, well, it was just an idea to add on to the things I already have planned and there is not a thing you can do to stop me. If I show up with a car on your birthday then you'll have a new car. Okay, bye love you" then hung up the phone
Damon is smirking at him
"Shut the fuck up Damon"
