Colden is calling Klaus, who is in the woods in Portland
"Portland is fantastic. Once you get over all the whiny music and healthy looking people, it is a literally a breeding ground for werewolves"
"Mikael is dead"
"What did you say to me?"
"Are you deaf?" Colden asked "I said Mikael is dead, well, daggered. What do I do with the body? I mean, I have a few ideas but figured you want to decide"
"Well, first I want you to explain to me exactly what happened"
One hour earlier, Salvatore Boarding House
"Aye, let's say that Mikael followed Elena in here. He tried to grab her, so he could use her as bait" Stefan said
"And you what?" Elena questioned "Vervained him?"
"No, we vervained him!" Damon intervened "This guy is an original. To make it realistic"
"Okay, fine" Stefan said "We vervained him, and in the process discovered that he had a dagger"
Colden just watched around
"Which he planned to use on Rebekah, but instead..." Elena said
"We drove it through his heart" Stefan noted
"And what happens when he asks to see Mikael's body?" Elena asked
"Good point!" Damon said "Colden here has been compelled to do what Klaus says. So the idea is to lure him back here and kill him...last thing we need is for him to get tripped up and tongue-tied"
they all look at Colden
"Hey, I'm just the hybrid in charge of getting him here"
"Klaus is smart" Elena said "If we tell him that Mikael is dead, he'll want proof"
"Then I shall be dead" Mikael said
Colden smirked, "Can I do it?"
Mikael glares at him "If Niklaus wishes to see me then our plan is working. Colden will lure him here, and I will kill him"
"With what?" Stefan asked "Those daggers won't work on him"
"Mikael has a white oak stake" Colden told "Yes...it is actually white"
"Where is it?" Stefan asked
Mikael dipped his dagger in the ashes of the white oak stake
"You think I'm foolish enough to have the white oak stake on me with Colden here"
Colden smirks at his step-grandfather
Mikael hands the dagger to Elena
"Y...You want me to actually dagger you?"
"Klaus will leave nothing to chance- especially when it comes to trust"
Klaus is on the phone with Colden in Portland in the present time.
"I wanna she him" Klaus growled "I want to see his rotting body for myself"
"He's here" Colden told "I'm gonna put him in the cellar of the Salvatore house"
"If you are lying to me Colden, you compulsion will expose you. So answer with your life: is what you are saying the truth?"
"First, I literally can't die. Second, my compulsion wouldn't have let me lie in the first place. And third, don't ask stupid questions dearest father"
he growls again, "I wanna talk to Rebekah"
Colden hands over the phone to his aunt
"Hello Nik" she said into the phone
"Rebekah, love. What's this I hear about Mikael's tragic run in with the dagger?"
"It's true" Rebekah said "He's finally out of our lives for good. I miss you. I'm miserable here"
"I'll be home soon" Klaus said
"Good. I'll see you then, Brother" Rebekah said hanging up the phone "He bought it. He's coming home"
Colden quickly takes the dagger out of Mikael's chest and pockets it before turning to Rebekah "When this falls through....I'll enjoy burying you under cement if Klaus doesn't get to you first that is....as much as I'm growing to hate Klaus, I hate betrayal even more"

Caroline and Colden are paining an old VW Bus
Caroline groaned, "Can you just go away"
"Nope" he pops "The only thing I have to do in this town is watch boring Elena and be with you. You are way more fun to be around. Why do you want me to go away? Does my god like features bug you?"
she tries to frown but fails letting a giggle out, "You remember that"
"Of course I do. It's the first thing I ever heard you say about me" he smiles "So what color's your dress"
"It's light pink I'm suppose to go pay for it and pick it up after this" she said "Why?"
"Well, I want to know what I should wear"
she bitch faces him, "We are not going together so it doesn't matter what color my dress is"
"Who you going with then?"
"None of your business" she said
"Okay" he shrugged "I'm just gonna kill any man you talk or look at"
she sighed, "Fine, we can go together. I'll send you a picture of my dress. Hey, what's the deal with Emmett and Tyler?"
"I turned Emmett a while ago and Tyler is learning from him....Emmett's going to homecoming with Bonnie and Tyler with Rebekah"
"What? You set Bonnie and Tyler up with them?"
"Emmett likes witches, his mother was one" Colden rolled his eyes "And Rebekah is easy. All Tyler has to do is be a gentlemen for a bit and she's putty"
Caroline gives him a look
"Don't over think this, mon amour" he mutters "Tyler's a guy and Rebekah's a girl. You know sex"
her eyes roll

later Colden enters the room with Damon and Elena wearing a light pink tux
"A pink tux" Damon said
"Matches Caroline's dress"
"She's going with you?" Elena asked
"Well...she said she didn't want to go with me at first but then after I said I would kill any guy she talked or looked at if she didn't. She changed her mind but I had to pay for her dress"
"Why are you even going?" She asked
"I just said Caroline is going to be there" he notes "Then you'll also be there. I'm compelled to protect you. With this town luck for dances the homecoming queens gonna kill you" Colden takes the dagger out of his pocket "Here, present for you"
he leaves
