Chapter 16 ~

We stood behind a blue car in front of the gala. I had to walk in heels and a dress so that we would blend in, and it was not comfortable. I wanted to wear my uniform but they wouldn't let me. Diego wore a suit and Lila wore a blue dress with heels, five said no to the suit which is unfair.

"Did I really have to wear the dress?" I asked annoyed. "Yes." Lila told me.

"Now what's the plan?" Lila asked. "We infiltrate we identify we extract. Double time." Diego said.

"What the hells he talking about?" Lila asked me and five. "Find the old man and get out fast." We said.

"That's what I said." Diego defended. "Sure." I said with a smirk. "On me." Diego said as he walked away. "After you." Lila offered to me and five. But five just glared at her. "What I can't be polite?" Sh asked.

"Cut the crap our dimwitted brother might buy your bullshit, but I do t trust you for a second." Five said.

"O ye of little faith." Lila said. "Stick up your ass." I told her. Five smirked.

Then we finally got going and entered the gala.

We walked inside the gala and five took a champagne off a waiters tray and handed it to me, and then took one for himself.

" I don't see dad anywhere." Diego said. "We'll he's not gonna greet us as soon as we walk in now is he?" I said sarcastically.

"Just keep an eye out for the majestic twelve. We got the upstairs." Five said taking my hand. Diego try not to do anything too stupid." Five said as we walked away.

I finished my drink and set it on a table while five was running up the stairs. I followed after him and we walked down a hallway.

"Do you really think he could have anything to do with this?" I asked five. "I don't think he's above it." He said stopping.

"Hey we never talked about why you were in stasis or how you got out of it." Five said "uh, let's talk about this later." I said hesitating. He nodded knowing I didn't want to talk about it anymore.

"What do you think they're up to?" I asked as we starting walking again. "Not sure." He said stopping at a door we heard voices in. We jumped inside and landed in a tiny closet.

I heard voices in the room. And we saw the majestic 12 talking when we heard a voice.

"Gentlemen this plan of yours seems ill-timed."

Five and I exchanged a look.

"Dad."

Our father turned around hearing a noise and grabbed a fire poker from the fireplace. He walked towards us. But five grabbed my hand and jumped us out just before he stuck the poker through breaking the slits in the closet door.

Five and I exhaled sharply when we turned around to see one of the swedes. "Shit!" I yelled. The swede grabbed five and threw him against the wall. I took off my heels and ran towards them. Five kicked him in the shin causing him to fall when another swede came down the hallway and kicked me in the gut.

I fell down coughing and broke off the heel on my shoe and stabbed him with it. I jumped behind him and kicked him. He fell but got back up almost instantly. Diego came up the stairs

"Five. Y/n." He said before the last swede came and started beating him.

I looked at Diego getting attacked when the swede who I was behind kicked my feet knocking me to the ground hitting my head. He pulled my up by my hair and pushed me against the wall to start choking me. I watched Lila stare at me and Diego who was gasping for her help before she ran to help five.

Snapping back to my own reality I kicked the swede in the balls, and he fell groaning. I saw five push his swede out the window and look at me. I nodded to him and he jumped. I used Luthers power to pull up my own attacker and throw him out the same window before jumping to five.

I stood next to five gasping for air, to see dad standing next to a car. Diego ran up to us. "Was that him?" He asked. "Yeah." We said
