Chapter 19 ~

We walked back into Elliott's to see Diego, Vanya, Luther, and Elliott standing on the railing.

"Le petit mort, le petit mort." Klaus kept saying. "What you don't speak french." Allison said laughing.

"It's the little death." Klaus said smiling. "Oh my goodness klaus." I said laughing.

"Oh wow I know this is impossible but did we all get sexier?" Klaus asked.

"Vanya." Allison said. "I can't believe I have another sister." She said walking down the stairs to meet us. I stood there along with Five, Allison and klaus as Vanya came down the stairs.

"I missed you." Allison said. "Thank god someone did." Vanya sis chuckling a little. While they grabbed me and hugged. I still didn't know what to say around Vanya and I wasn't 100% comfortable being in the same room as her.

"Oh you are drunk." Diego said to klaus. "Yeah, no, just a little. Just a few. Oh that's so sweet." Klaus rebutted, walking over to us.

"No, Jesus." Allison said as klaus wrapped his arms around us. "Hi." Vanya said into Allison's arm as we burst out laughing. "Hey canny." Klaus replied.

"Klaus is Ben here?" Five asked. I wriggled my way out of the hug and walked over to him.

"Oh uh no. No, unfortunately ghosts can't time travel." Klaus said. I looked at him confused when I saw Ben sitting in a chair. "Liar." I said to klaus, he put his fingers to his lips. "Are you kidding me?" Ben yelled.

Everybody walked up the stairs but us went last. "All right everybody let's get down to business." Five said walking up the stairs.

"All right first off, I wanna saw I'm sorry. And so is y/n we really screwed the pooch on this whole going-back-in-time-and-getting-stuck thing. But the real kick in the pants here we brought the end of the world back with us." Five said. I looked apologetically at everyone.

"Oh, my god again?" Klaus asked.

Everybody nodded at klaus. "All of you knew? Why am I always the last one to find out about the end of the— 0h, my god. My cold is going to be so pissed. five! Y/n! I told them we had until 2019." Klaus whined.

"We have until Monday. We have six days." Five corrected.

"Is it baby's?" Klaus asked. We all have him a look. "Klaus!" Allison said.

"What? It's usually Vanya." Klaus said. "What do you mean usually? It's only happened once." I said.

"Do you have any leads five?" Vanya asked him pushing klaus's comment aside.

"Yeah we have one." He said as I handed the folder to Allison. " Holy shit is that dad?" Allison asked.

"Yeah." Diego replied.

"That's him?" Vanya asked leaning in to see dad.

"Standing on the grassy knoll." Diego said. "Y/n, Diego, and I have been trying to talk to Dad about what exactly this means. So far we've got nothing." Five explained.

"That's where you guys come in." I said. "Not nothing. He's planning to kill Kennedy." Diego corrected.

"Maybe. But we don't know who or what sets doomsday in motion. Could be Kennedy, could be something entirely independent.  But we know something changes the timeline, we have to make it right again." Five said.

"Yeah but how are we supposed to fix it, if we don't know what's broken?" Allison asked.

"Oh come on do the math. We know dads having shady ass meetings with some shady ass people. We know he's on the grassy knoll in three days to kill the president. So I think we all know what we have to do." Diego said, i rolled my eyes.

Does he really think the whole plot developed around dad killing JFK?

"Find dad."

"Kill dad."

"None of us are supposed to be here right? I mean, what if it's us? Has anyone done anything to screw up the timeline?" Vanya asked.

I took a swig of the drink I was holding in my hand as we all sat there in silence.

"Diego's been stalking Lee Harvey Oswald."

"Your working for jack ruby. Y/n and five are at it with the apocalypse shit again."

"Allison has been very involved in local politics."

"Okay you started a cult."

"Thank you!"

"I'm I'm just a nanny on a farm. I don't have anything to do with all of that." Vantage said.

"Well maybe you do you just don't have anything to do with all that." Allison said. "I agree with Allison." I finally said.

"Listen to yourselves. Everything in our new lives is connected to Kennedy. That can't be a coincidence. Luther works for Ruby, Allison is protesting the government, dad is on The Grassy knoll, klaus is doing something weird and pervy but probably related. see clearly we were all sent here for one special reason:
Saving John Fitzgerald Kennedy." Diego said. We all burst out in arguments defending ourselves.

"Guys you all die. I was there. I saw it. And I wanna forget it, but I can't. I saw Russian miles vaporize the world with all of you in it. In a war that never happened till we brought it here. And Hazel gave his life to save us, so you may need to shut up and just listen to me. I don't know if the things we've experienced here are all connected. I don't know if there's a reason for everything. But dad will. We need to talk to him before everyone and everything we know is dead." Five said making us all shut up and pay attention.

Russian nukes? What in the world was he talking about?

"Ok I'm out." Luther sighed interrupting my thoughts.

"Did you even hear me, Luther?" Five asked annoyed that he didn't care.

"Yeah. Yeah, I did. I Heard of 58-year-old man who still wants his daddy to come and fix everything. Well, you can count me out. It's time we all grew the hell up." Luther said walking away.

"Luther!"

"Come back"

"Where you going?"

"Save it Diego." Luther said stoping him in his tracks.

"No one leaves until we figure this out." Five said appearing on the stairs.

Luther threw him off but he jumped away.

"Luther." I said before dropping it. I knew five was ok.

"You know I could really go for some tacos right now Allison? Tacos?" Klaus said turning my focus to them.

"Shouldn't we wait?" She asked looking back and forth.

"You know those guys. I mean it could take forever for them to bro it out." Klaus said swinging his arm.

"Vanya, y/n, tacos?" Klaus asked. I shrugged, I was really just up for anything and bored at this point.

"Is there anyway that tacos are gonna cause the end of the world?" Vanya asked.

"I mean there's only one way to find out right?" Klaus said snapping his fingers.
