Five and I stood outside the elevator, him in front of it waiting impatiently and me leaning on the glass fence looking down at my shoes with my arms crossed.
Several moments Passed when five finally broke the silence. "I know you want to say something so just get it out with please." He said hesitating to look at me.
"We can go home. The apocalypse won't happen. The war won't happen. So why didn't you just take the deal right then and there?" I asked looking up and over to him.
He hesitated a little before speaking up. "I don't know if we can trust her. And I don't want to be a part of this, and being in business with her." He said.
Then the elevator opened and we stepped inside. Five stood towards the front and I stood farther away than I could tell he wanted me to. Why couldn't he just agree with me and take the deal? We can go home and be done with all of this. Live normal lives for once.
"We're not done with this." I said shifting in my feet. The doors were about to close when Diego put his hand on the door stopping it. "Wait up." He said walking inside as the others followed.
"Good we're all here." Five said closing the door.
A few minutes later we smelled something terrible. I looked at Luther as I punched the tip of my nose.
"Ugh Luther."
"Really?"
The elevator opened and we all practically jumped out of there. I coughed and wave my hand a few times before walking into the room.
"All right when dad gets here I'll do the talking." Five announced.
"Got a few questions for him myself." Diego interjected.
"Same here." I said sending five a glare.
"Hey we don't wanna scare him off. He might be able to help us stop doomsday, and get us home." He said looking at me. I glared at him
And rolled my eyes."Or he might not. Probably the latter." I said sitting down as far away I could from him.
"No, we need to figure out why he's planning to kill the president." Diego argued.
"What is with you and the president. God Diego." I said.
"This is a matter of life and death you imbecile" five said.
"Okay ya maybe we should take turns talking. Yeah?" Vanya asked.
Now she wants to be the peacekeeper? Little late for that.
"Here whoever has this conch shell gets to talk." She said grabbing a shell of a table.
"What are we in fifth grade?" I asked.
"Vanya we don't have time for a debate okay?" Five said. "Right because it's always business with you. Straight to the point." I said looking at the table and crossing my arms again.
"Maybe I should lead. We all know I'm a better public speaker than the rest of you." Allison said walking in and taking the shell from Vanya.
"Ok daddy's girl." Diego mocked.
"Oh jealous number two?" She asked.
"Hey no more numbers. No more bullshit. We're team zero. We're all team zero." He said walking over to Allison.
"That is a number dipshit." I told him playing with the umbrella in the drink sitting in front of me.
"Uh diego, you don't have the conch." Luther said.
Diego grabbed it and threw it at the wall smashing it to pieces.
"Classic." Allison said putting her stuff done. And sitting next to me.
