I woke up on the couch to hear a blaring from one of Elliott's machines. "Turn that damn thing off Elliott!" I yelled throwing my pillow at him. He dodged it sadly.

"Hey, we got one. Hey! one of those machines you asked for is going crazy." He yelled as five came running into the room.

I finally got up from the couch looked fixed my hair."What the hell are you talking about?" I asked Elliott while walking over to them.

"Which one?" Five asked ignoring me. "It's the uh atmospheric radar. I don't get it though. What are you tracking? A hurricane a storm front?" Elliott asked.

"Sound waves." Five said turning to me. "Vanya." I realized. He nodded and we jumped away.

We landed in what appeared to be a corn maze. And ran through it. I followed five whilst swiping corn stalks and leaves of of my face but one still managed to end up in my hair.

We found Vanya in a clearing. "Hi Vanya." Five said clearing leaves and corn out of his face to see her.

I just stood there though. The last time I saw her she was trying to kill me and the time before that she almost did.

"Who are you?" She asked looking at five then to me. But I couldn't meet her eyes. "I'm your brother." Five said as Vanya got up. "And I'm your sister." I managed to say with a small voice crack. Five looked at me confused but turned his focus back to Vanya.

"I have siblings?" She asked shocked. Me and five looked at her confused. "Look you can stay here and wait for the IKEA mafia to come kill you or you can come with us." Five said grabbing my wrist and leading us out of the maze.

"Why are they trying to kill me?" Asked Vanya.

Does she seriously not know? Or is she just acting.

"Because your not supposed to be here Vanya." Five said. "In Dallas?" She asked confused.

"No in 1963." I said finally reaching a crop circle in the middle of the maze.

"Holy shit." Vanya said looking around. "Yeah pretty wild right?" Five said.

"It's good to see your powers are still intact. Let's go." Five said as we headed out of the maze.

We sat at a counter in a diner while a waitress was pouring five coffee. "Leave the pot dear." He said while she walked off muttering something ending with little shit.

"You gonna tell me what the hell's going on?" Vanya asked. "Do you really not remember anything?" I asked her, she shook her head in reply.

"When you were a baby, you were bought by an eccentric billionaire. He raised you in an elite academy with seven other siblings with extraordinary powers. But in the year 2019 in order to avoid the apocalypse, we jumped into a vortex and ended up being scattered throughout the timeline in Dallas Texas." Five said.

Vanya looked so confused while trying to comprehend what he had just said.

"Any questions?" Five asked. "What do you mean the apocalypse." Vanya asked.

"I mean the end of the world as we know it." Five simply said.

"But how?" Vanya asked.

"You really don't remember anything." He said.

"No, nothing before a month ago." Vanya said.

"Then what do you remember?" I asked.

"I landed in, like, a back alley. Got hit by a car. My head was ringing like crazy. I had no idea how I got there, where I came from. What causes the apocalypse?" Vanya asked causing me and five to look at each other.

"Asteroid impact." He said. I mean he wasn't lying.

"The big kaboom ends everything. Just like the one that got the dinosaurs except way worse. Bad news is it followed us here." He said.

"What do you mean followed us?" Vanya asked.

"When we landed here our being here impacted the timeline so..." I started "eight days from now the world ends in a nuclear doomsday. It's a different disease but same result." Five finished.

"That can be right." Vanya denied. "I saw it." Five said looking at me. "With my own eyes. You were there. We all were." He said looking back at Vanya.

"Shit, I need to make a phone call." Vanya said running off to a pay phone. "Vanya." Five started. I put my hand on his shoulder. "Let her go." I told him.

I turned around and took a sip of my own coffee. " eight days. Eight fucking days. It's happening all over again. Can't we just live out our lives with no fucking apocalypse?" I said running my fingers through my hair.

Five just sat there and looked at me. "What?" I asked him. "Nothing just, I missed you." He said, I scoffed. "I missed you to." I said.

"We escaped and then we all were without each other for years." I said staring at the wall. "Ik, I'm sorry i got you stuck here." Five said, I looked at him.

"What? Five I got us stuck here to it's not your fault, it's mine to." I said.

Five and I sat there for a few seconds before he kissed me, he pulled away and touched his forehead to mine. "I missed that." He said "I did to." I said laughing a little.

"I'll get Vanya." He said getting up and walking over to Vanya. I payed the waitress and got us just as they were ready to go.
