As the next morning comes round, I didn't go into school, I was so tiered after staying up all night wondering if dad was gonna call, if he was okay, and worrying about them biker guys and what they did. But after school hours comes around and I get a call from my aunt
"Hey, dear." I yawn
"Hey, Auntie Ash. What's up?" She takes a second
"You're little cousin has been missing you, why don't you come round and take her to the park?" I look around and debate
"Uhm, yeah sure. I'll be round in ten." She gets excited
"Thank you!" I chuckle lightly
"No problem." I end the call and hesitantly pick up my keys, I go outside and get in my car, I then get a call from Aisha, I answer it on my Bluetooth
"Hey, girl." She chuckles lightly
"Hey. Uhm, I was wondering, Miguel, Demetri, Hawk and I are bored, you wanna do something?" I debate
"Well, I've got to take my niece to the park if you guys wanna join." She takes a second and responds
"Yeah, sure. The usual park?" I nod
"Exactly that." She seems to sound excited
"Nice, see you there!" I chuckle slightly
"See ya." I end the call, it only takes me ten minutes to get to my aunts, so once I arrive, I get Hazel's (my cousin) car seat ready in the back and she comes out running
"Freya!" I chuckle and pick her up as she comes over
"Hello monster!" She chuckles, I kiss her cheek
"I've missed you. You ready to go to the park?" She cheers
"Yeah!" I put her in the car
"Come on then!" I strap her in and close the door, Auntie Ash comes over and hugs me
"Thank you so much, giving me some time to have to girls over for adult talk." I snicker a big
"It's all right, I'll see you in an hour or so?" She nods
"Yes, thanks again." I give her a big smile
"It's fine. Bye." She says bye to me, I get in the car and see her waving at Hazel, she waves back, I pull off and look at her in the mirror
"Ready to meet some of my friends?" Her face suddenly lights up
"Yeah!" I chuckle
"Whoo!" After about a five minute drive we arrive at the park, I get her out of the car and hold her hand until we get to the main bit, as I arrive Hazel sees Demetri and runs up to him
"Eeeee!" D chuckles and picks her up
"Hey, Hazel!" He looks at me shocked
"She's gotten big!" I chuckle and nod
"That's what happens to kids, Demetri." He puts her down, Eli then comes over smiling
"Hey, Hazel, remember me?" She looks at him confused then looks at me
"Who's that?" I chuckle lightly
"That's Eli, you remember?" She looks at him then back to me shocked
"Whoa!" I chuckle, she goes over and hugs his leg a little, Eli chuckles, I then look at Miguel and Aisha
"Miguel, Aisha. This is my little cousin, Hazel. Hazel these are my friends Miguel and Aisha." She smiles at them
"Hi!" They wave at her slightly and smile
"Hello." I then hear a kid call
"Hazel!" She looks over and sees a friend from school
