Pokemon Y Nuzlocke

The Santalune City Gym

A small bird flutters around my room as I catch up on some much-needed sleep. It's nice... soft... and warm... I could stay like this forever...

I then feel that same small bird slam into my face. That's right, I got whomped by the bird. Not a great start to the day, but eh, it's better than some. I go to my mirror and get dressed. I am an absolute cutie.

I go downstairs and meet my mom in our beautiful house. Like wow, we're high-middle class at worst. Absolutely gorgeous. She tells me good morning and then sends me to go meet the neighbors.

I open the door and see a girl and boy outside the door, welcoming me to Vaniville Town! The boy's name is Calem, and the girl is Shauna! Calem is cute, not going to lie, but that's beside the point. They've come to get me because Professor Sycamore has a job and a Pokemon for us! 

I go through Route 1 and arrive in Aquacorde Town, where I meet two more people! I meet Tierno, the dancer, and Trevor, the nerd. I could not care less about them but they decide to give me a nickname so lemme think of what it should be...

They shall call me Tooth Eater. I'm not joking. That's literally what they call me now.

Anyway, time for my new Pokemon. I pick Fennekin and name him Mr. Cough. Trevor then gives me a Pokedex and now we're being asked to fill out the Pokedex. That won't happen! I then get the professor's letter to give to my mom so she knows an adult approved my journey.

I start to leave to go give my mom said letter when Shauna yells, "Tooth Eater, wait!" She wants to battle! She sends out her Chespin and I send out Mr. Cough who cooks the Chespin alive. Easy peasy.

I get home and notice we have a pet Rhyhorn. That's wild and I love it.

I give my mom the letter and she's like, "Oh my! Is it a love letter from Sycamore?" and GOD I hope not for... reasons...

Anyway, I'm off! I walk into the Pokemart but can't buy pokeballs so I can't catch anything yet! So sad. However, it doesn't take long before Calem shows me how to catch Pokemon even though I just finished playing Legends: Arceus. Like, I think I know how to catch a Pokemon after completing that Pokedex and fighting god. 

Anyway, he gives me some Pokeballs and it's time for our first encounter on Route 2. I run through the grass and catch a Pidgey! I name her Liver Kill.

Now it's already time to enter Santalune Forest but Shauna decides to tag along so I'll get my encounter once she leaves. She does find and give me a Paralyze Heal.

Oop- encounter happens now! It's a Scatterbug! I catch her and name her Corpse 3.

After some training, I end up on Route 3 and get my next encounter. I walk into the grass and find an Azurill! I name him Curtis.

While traveling, I see a lady on some skates. It would sure be cool to have some of my own...

Also, just want to add the fact that Fletchling is coming for me and is trying to kill me. These fiery birds are stabbing me with their beaks and I'm forced to thank them for it. This level 5 Fletchling was fully out for blood and mine specifically. He put Curtis and Corpse 3 on the edge of death and I was not here for it.

Anyway, I head to the gym where I see the lady with rollerskates from before. I beat her up and steal her skates. Now I'm zoomin'!

Alright! Gym time! I ensured my Pokemon weren't over-leveled so this could still be a challenge. While going through the gym, however, Corpse 3 evolved into a Spewpa! Let's go!

I make it to the gym leader Viola and the battle begins. 

Her first Pokemon is Surskit, a speedy girl. I start with Corpse 3 and paralyze it with stun spore. We then tackle it to death, getting really lucky with the paralysis.  After getting hit by bubble and almost reaching half health, I switch to Liver Kill who gets a clean switch in thanks to paralysis. When I said lucky, I mean 3 paralyzes in a row. Anyway, one gust and Surskit goes down.

Vivillon comes out and hits Liver Kill with Infestation. Liver starts spamming Sand Attack to make things easier for Mr. Cough when he switches in. However, due to an oversight on my part, Liver Kill goes down... to 4 HP. She's fine. Infestation just got a bit too close for-

I can't switch out during infestation? Wait... I- uh.... oh no... I made a mistake...

I did this to myself. I can't go back on my rules. So, since I can't heal in battle, Liver Kill uses Gust before falling to Infestation. Mr. Cough comes out and burns Vivillon alive, taking little damage thanks to Liver Kill's sand attacks. One more ember should-

She used a potion. TWO more embers and Vivillon goes down and we earn the Bug Badge. What a creative name for the badge. We get the TM for Infestation as well so I'll teach that to Corpse 3.

I'm sad about Liver Kill's death but we have to move on. Learn and keep going.

This may be harder than expected.
