I brought Renesmee right out beside me as everyone else followed. Truly we had 18 vampires in our home, and then mom had joined us. We also had Jack and Jake here with us too. I zipped right over to the two new comers, and right to Zafrina. I gave her a big hug.
Farrah Cullen, it's been too long, I haven't seen you since you were about this little ones age. We had so much fun that day huh? She asked me kissing my forehead, ruffling my hair. Yeah, not to mention it about scared me half to death, or rather what part of me that seems to be alive.
I remember that. The girls had came to visit, I was playing hide and seek with you. I was about Renesmee's age maybe even slightly older. Zafrina brought me into a rainforest, and everything seemed so real and life like, like VR. Something at this time is way ahead of its time, if I'm calling this part of the Twilight time frame, instead of it being almost 2019. It's currently 12/20 about 330 am. Maybe some of you remember me talking about this in the first one.
Bella this is Zafrina, she has the power over the mind. But Bella doesn't see anything. Eleazer tells Edward that he never told them that Bella was a shield. What's a shield? She asks. To put it simply, other than usually its more of a defensive talent, its also the reason why Edward can't read your mind and Aro. But why when I feel like it to not allow anyone to read mine. But maybe its also why we can now read each others Bella.
But, I'm part of everything. Kate comes up, showing off her power, kind of like electrocution. She takes Bella's hand, she can sense it. I'll be right back. I whisper to Edward. Go on then. He nods at me. Garret thinks she's incredible, I close my eyes and transform running off. The new wolves would be learning to control their powers, and Jake would be training them for when they would begin to morph.
He smells me coming. You smell that don't you? There are many vampires around this area, but the Cullen's are our friends. You're having a difficult time with the strange smell, not a human, nor vampire, nor werewolf. However, fully truly 100% vampire as of the last couple of days, and only can transform because of a gift, but still smells the same, like a hybrid. A friend of mine, here to help.
He whistles for me. They all murmur among themselves. A bunch of she's Renee's hybrid daughter, friend of Billy Black. Yes, this is all true. Back when Renee used to be like the Cullen's. Transform please, let them get a good look at you so that they don't try to hunt you down. I lay down and stretch out, he grabs my hand helping me up. What a pretty necklace. I hear one say. That figure looks like Jacob.
I got it for her, for her birthday. One that feels like longer than it should. And will forever legally be 18. She's Bella's twin sister. And.... Jacob sniffs around. Something is NOT right. He transforms. Whoever is coming this time, isn't supposed to be here. I transform back, as does Jake. We all chase after the intruders. More friends/family, or rather more of kind of neutral party.
Weren't invited, and long way from home, but want to see Aro and his clan be crushed. Their names are Vladimir and Stefan. Everyone comes back together, they tell us why they're here. What they believe Aro and his clan are planning. And have waited a very long time for something like this to happen. That, that's what Aro wants, someone like Alice, someone like Edward.... That's why Alice and Jasper left, that he doesn't have someone like either of them.
Then Edward comes to my side grasping my shoulders. Pulling me close, with a hint of annoyance and vengeance in his voice. Why he wants Farrah, if he can't have myself or Alice he wants Farrah. She alone could either destroy all of man kind as we know it, or take down the Volturi all on her own. Well not on her own as one person, but potentially because she has a cloning capability.
If you were to leave now, and back out now you'd have nowhere to go, even if Aro couldn't get any of us he wouldn't hesitate to come after any one of you to get you on his side on his team to fight next to him. I know Carlisle won't ask you to fight, but I will, for my family and for yours and for the way you want to live.
One after one all the vampires said they'd join us in battle, join us in the fight, but Jacob had been the first to speak up, that he reminded us that the wolves would fight that they'd never been afraid of vampires. But, we hopped it wouldn't have to come to a fight. That's not what we wanted.
Aro was rounding up his own witnesses. Those that were loyal to him, and only him. That Jane and Alec would be the worst, that I also had their powers too. Not ones I'd use, unless I'd kill, like if I were to hunt and want the blood to go into me. I'd move it into me, kind of like Alec's vapor power, but his vapor was much more than that, he could paralyze your sight, touch and hearing or rather sound.
I'd only use it like a fog, like a mist, to swirl the soul into my hand, like Pitch Black using his nightmare dust to make nightmares, or Regina Queen to teleport, I'd use it for blood. To drain after they'd been killed. If I hunted. Back with us we were talking about if only Bella could someone use her shield on everyone, or a lot of us. That gifts would and could develop over time. Mine have, but I'd been trained for 10 years.
I could help with that. But right now, I was sent to take care of Renesmee. Esme had sent me to go take care of her, to rest up, lay with her and rest with her, as she swept back my hair. The girl sleeps still? One of the Denali's asked me. That's part of her power, she still gets tired, and if she wants to when she gets tired she can make the rest of us tried. She mostly only does it really to me though Edward says.
But in general you feel more at peace, and like you want to sleep, and we all sleep because of her. It's our family rule. One that I used to hate and go against but will carry into my own home. Take Renesmee and go back to Cullen place go lay down in the family room on the couch and sleep, both of you. We'll be fine out here.
A little while later, Kate is trying to help Bella expand on her shield power. But she's having trouble using it. Kate believes that she lacks motivation. That's when Edward steps in. No! Bella yells. It's alright Bella I can take it. He tells her, Garret warns him that that's what he says now. She can't stand him getting hurt by her powers, but in order to make it work this is supposed to motivate her to expand it, to be able to protect someone other than herself.
It's getting there, however it lacks incentive. Perhaps I should see if that sister of yours is awake. She makes her finger spark, with a sly smile.... Bella glares at her. Or better yet your daughter if that sister of yours won't be enough for you. She teases and taunts. Are you crazy? Yes, that's kind of a death sentence, possibly worse than Aro's Farrah probably won't kill you, but she'll quickly learn your power, use it against you.
Edward admits. Everything will be just fine. He reassures. Fine, this one is at full power, she warns. As she reaches out for him, it works, he barely feels a thing, that it still hurt, but was bearable. This should be enough training for now. Later in the day, it becomes evening. We put Nessie to sleep. I sit on one side of her, and Bella on the other. Bella reads Ness a book. It's bedtime. Bella and I take turns in reading a page of the book to her.
As soon as she closes her eyes, I whisper to Bella that I'd stay. Bella begins to yawn a little. Mom, aunt Snow? She asks us. Both: Yes? We ask her in sync as she smiles at us and us back at her. She asks us if Alice and Jasper left us because they think we're gonna die, but we reassure her that they left because it was safer for us.
Goodnight Renesmee. Goodnight mommy. Night aunt Snow. Bella kisses her forehead then I do. Sweet dreams, I whisper to her. She closes her eyes again. I lay down next to her, and pull her in close, slipping under the covers. Bella reaches over and sweeps back my hair, she kisses my forehead too. Night Farrah, sweet dreams she says smiling down at me. I love you Bella. I remind her. I love you too little sister. She tells me.
Are the girls asleep? Edward asks. They are. She yawns. She's effected you. He chuckles. Everyone will also soon be asleep for the night. We should be heading that way too. I knew in my mind, body, heart, and soul that Alice had left that note specific for Bella and I that only the two of us would be able to understand since we were the only ones who could pass Aro. I knew in the end that everything soon would be ok, that everything soon was gonna be safe, and soon everything would be over, and we'd get our happy ending soon.
