Taylor's pov
Carol and I continued to hold hands as we walked out of the shop and made our way to the park,we basically talked for hours.but eventually,Carol had to go back to work.which made me sad, because I wanted to spend a lot of time with her."don't be sad Tay,remember you still have this."she reminded me,pointing at my hand(which still had her number and address on it)."plus, you'll see me at the concert tonight."she added,"I guess you're right."I sighed sadly."I'll see you around T."she assured me,She turned around.I gulped,as she was about to walk off I grabbed her wrist."wait."i said, she turned around and looked at me.I gulped, starting to get nervous.I felt like my heart was gonna beat out of my chest,I wanted to kiss her but I didn't want to freak her out at the same time."Taylor?are you ok?"She asked in a concerned tone.i shook my head and snapped back into reality,"S-Sorry."i said as i let go of her wrist."I-I was gonna do something, but I'll do it later."i said,"idiot!"I thought it."oh,ok."she said, she sounded..disappointed?She hugged me,i stiffened up before relaxing and hugging her back.she said goodbye to me once again and walked away, making her way back to work.I groaned,"fucking idiot!you could've kissed her!"I cursed at myself.
I kicked a nearby rock out of frustration,as I did that I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket.I took it out and saw it was Nate,I flipped it open."hello?"I answered it,"dude!where are you?"he asked."at the park,"I replied,"why?"I asked."We have to do sound check soon man!"he reminded me,"shit,I forgot!"I admitted."get down here quick!"he said,"don't worry,I'll be there faster then you can say Bill & Ted's excellent adventure."i said with a grin."Bill-"I hung up on him,I closed my phone and put it in the pocket of my board shorts.I began to run to where we were holding out concert,I could've easily rented a bike:but running is more exercise for my legs then pedaling.
