Taylor's pov
"You did it man,you really did it."Dave said,congratulating me.i smiled,"thanks man,I really appreciate it."i said.we touched beer bottles and drank them,we watched everyone dancing.Nate was dancing with Kate,Chris was dancing with Cara,Pat was dancing with Rebecca,Dave was dancing with Carmen,and Carol was dancing with Halle and Tara.I watched her lovely as she danced,I smiled and took a sip of my beer."I'm one lucky son of a bitch huh?"i said to Dave,he nodded."I remember when you two first met."he remarked,he then laughed.

How Carol and Taylor met,through Taylor's perspective!

Taylor's pov
"I don't know if I can do this Dave,what if they don't like me?"tonight was my first concert with foo fighters,and I was extremely nervous."quit your fucking whining Taylor,"he put his hand on my shoulder,"you're the most badass drummer I know.and if they don't like you,then fuck them!"he encouraged me.suddenly,the lights changed color."show time,let's go boys!"Dave yelled,we all nodded."LADIES AND GENTLEMEN ARE YOU READY TO FUCKING ROCK?!"Dave yelled,we heard people cheer."I got this I got this I got this."i psyched myself up in my head as Dave,Pat,Nate,and I jogged on stage.

I sat on my stool and counted off with my drumsticks,I was basically hitting the drums like they owned me money.Dave was singing like a maniac while Pat jumped around and played his guitar,Nate was of course chill as usual when it came to playing his bass.I couldn't help but to look at the crowd,some people seemed to genuinely like me.

and that's when it happened

I turned my head and locked eyes with the most beautiful woman in the world.her blonde hair shined,her eyes were enchanting,I felt like my heart was was gonna beat out of my chest.adrenaline was pumping through my veins,but I could tell if it was from looking at her or from rocking out.the girl blushed and quickly looked away,I felt a bit sad."was I scaring her?I mean it's kinda creepy for me to be staring at some random girl while playing."I thought,but then she slowly looked back.I felt like I was being hypnotized as we looked at each other,it was as if we were having a telepathic conversation with each other.

"Hello!Earth to Hawkins!"Dave yelled,snapping and waving his hand in front of my face.I blinked quickly and snapped back into reality,the concert was over."you ok man?"Dave asked,I blinked several times:trying to remember what I did after the concert,I blushed when I realized I asked a security guard to look for the girl."Y-Yeah man,"i patted his shoulder,"I'm Uh,gonna go to my room."i said."alright well Uh,I'll get you later."he said,I nodded and quickly rushed into my room.I knew that I needed to change,because there was no way I was going to talk to this girl looking like I sweated buckets.after quickly getting changed I heard a knock on the door,"Mr.Hawkins,I brought the woman you were talking about."I heard a security guard say.

I widened my eyes and quickly swung open the door,when I saw the girl we both blushed."thanks man,I appreciate it."i said to the guard,he nodded and walked off.I heard her gulp as she went into the room,I closed the door behind her."woah,you're even more beautiful up close."i said,she blushed even more and looked away."no way..."she said,"Hey come on,I'm serious."I said.I held her hand,which caused her to look at me."I'm Taylor,but I assume you already know that."i introduced himself to her,she giggled and nodded.

"Taylor!Davey!come dance with us!"Jordyn exclaimed,I smiled."let's go man."Dave said,standing up.I walked towards Carol,she turned around and smiled when she saw me.she grabbed my hands and led me to the front of the dance floor,as we began to dance As The World Falls Down by David Bowie began to play.

Carol closed her eyes and rested her head gently on my chest,I rested my chin on top of her head."this is the most beautiful wedding ever."she whispered,"I never thought I'd finally meet my soulmate."I admitted.she looked at me,I held her hand tightly."I never want this to end."I began to tear up,"oh T..."she whispered.she gently cupped my cheek,"I'll never leave."she whispered.I gently rested my hand on top of hers as we continued to slowly sway,nothing else mattered at that moment.
