Taylor's pov
As Jason and Heather chatted in the front,I made sure Carol was comfortable since she fell asleep on my shoulder."you know T,"I looked up and at Heather,"you picked a lucky girl."she said.I smiled,"I think I'm the lucky one here."I said."he's not wrong Heather,"Jason chimed in,"Tay,is it really true that you're on a diet now?"he asked."I know you told me not to listen to the media sometimes but I just wanted to know."he added,"well Carol and I have been trying some new things,but I wouldn't consider us to be on a diet.if anything,Nate's the one on some weird diet shit."I replied."ah,see now that makes sense."he said,Heather nodded in agreement.finally,after 2 whole hours of driving we finally made it to the Hawkins ranch.

"Carol,baby,wake up we're here."i said as I gently woke her up.she lifted her head up and opened her eyes,"we made it?"she yawned."yep,we did baby."I replied with a grin,"welcome to the Hawkins ranch Carol."Jason said as we all got out of the car."I'll show you around C."Heather assured her as I opened the trunk,Carol gulped."it's alright girlie go on ahead,"I encouraged her,"Jason's gonna help me with out stuff."I assured her."oh,alright."she said with a smile,Heather smiled.

Carol's pov
I was mesmerized by almost everything on the ranch,I never knew Taylor had horses!"Tay and Jas used to ride horses together everyday after school."Heather explained as we looked at the horses,"did they name them?"I asked curiously."yeah,we each got to make a horse."she replied,"mmm,back in Brazil me and my schoolmates would name every bird and pretend it was our pet."i said."ah Brazil,I can't wait to go there."she said,she looked at me."how beautiful is it there on a scale of one to ten?"she asked,I thought about it for a moment."definitely 10."I replied,we giggled."well Brazil isn't as beautiful as Carol."Taylor said,we turned our heads and saw Taylor walking towards us.I smiled,"hey there T,I'm just showing Carol the horses."Heather explained as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"Ah you'll love Roger the most babe,that's my favorite horse."Taylor said."it seems difficult."i admitted to them,"it is a bit scary at first,but once you get used to it it'll be a breeze."Heather assured me.Taylor nodded in agreement,"Wowie,I definitely feel like I'm in a Western movie."i joked.they laughed,i laughed as well.then we heard a bell ring,"ah sweet,it's the lunch bell!"Heather said."man I haven't heard that bell in so long."Taylor said,"a lunch bell?"i said in confusion."it's a bell that our parents would ring when it was time for lunch."Heather said as I held Taylor's hand and followed them inside.
